Kent Fisher Furs

Appraised a vintage fur. I needed an appraisal for a fur that came to me via parents' estate. Carl Fisher identified the fur, estimated that it was about 40 years old and indicated it was in very good condition. Offered a free verbal appraisal but I needed a written one to send back to executor. Very satisfied with this experience.

From the moment I made a phone call to inquire about repairing my fur coat to the moment I walked out of the door of the salon, I was treated and quot;like familyand quot;. I had been treated very badly by another fur repair provider and felt horrible about the experience. Mr. Carl Fisher and his clerk Debra were wonderful and treated me with the most respect and reassurance that my coat would be repaired and restyled and come back in a beautiful condition and at a very reasonable cost. The store is very prompt a calling in the Spring time to remind you it is time for your fur to go into storage. Even though we live over an hour away from the store they are very accommodating in terms of identifying a date and time that works around my schedule and they send a driver out for free. The coat arrives back beautiful and shiny and the repairs are meticulous. My only complaint is they do not call you to remind you to remove your coat from storage (not a single call) and when you do call for delivery of the coat it can takes weeks if the weather is now cool enough for coat season. I find myself writing a reminder to call them Oct 1st for delivery each year.

They have been in business for many years and they have a fine reputation. In the past they have pointed out problems in my furs and asked if I wanted to take care of them. They pick up the furs at your house.
