I made the appt just one day in advance. I received a phone call with the report of what needed fixing and the estimate to do it. They called (same day) to let me know the car was ready and the cost was the exact same as the estimate. The car continues to run fine. Also got a recent oil change which didn't even require an appt.

My car battery died and I couldn't jump it. I needed to find somewhere I could get it towed by my Roadside Emergency group. I was able to reach Hollenshade on the weekend, and simply have the car towed there with a note giving directions. It was done early Monday.

We have recommended them to others.

After calling on Saturday, I dropped the car off after hours. Kevin called Monday morning, one hour after opening, with diagnosis and estimate. He was pleasant, clear, and patient with his explanations. He called later when repairs were complete with additional notes (the oil leak). He apologized for not noticing the engine was a recent replacement until after replacing the water pump since he felt that might also be under warranty. I had neglected to tell him the engine was recently replaced. Repairs were complete that day and I arranged to pick up the car after hours. Unfortunately, a part in the new repair broke as I was driving away. As frustrating and irritating as this was, again I spoke to Kevin first thing the next morning. He apologized for the failed part (already diagnosed) and the repair was restored within hours.

It was frustrating to return several times to fix the problem, but Hollenshade's methods and pricing seem right to me. Part of the challenge was that the engine sputtered (and the "service engine" light) would only come on after a long cold start, which made diagnosing difficult. Hollenshade's started with the small problems and worked their way up, which I think is a good way to do business. Each time I dropped off the car, they were quick (too quick?), professional and organized. I will go back for future repairs -- hopefully not as a follow-up to the most recent problem!

I love Hollenshade's Auto Service. I trust them. They don't do work that is not necessary and they are very careful to explain everything and to tell us ahead of time what the extent of the repair will be. I think they are awesome. I would highly recommend their services.

They are really attentive. They are not so generic and they take really good care of their customers. I have pulled my car up before and had them look at it right then. If they are busy there might be a short wait. My family and I have used them for years. We use them for everything from a nail in the tire to major repairs.

Hollenshades is a very honest and reputable auto service station. They only repair what needs to be repaired and provide car owners with advice that is in the car owners best interests. No mechanic games or scams here. They have good mechanics, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they complete their work in a timely manner.

Excellent - this is my second visit and both times repairs were done at a reasonable cost. This last visit it turned out the leak was a loose oil filter. It is great dealing with a reputable garage with integrity. They actually do call you when promised.

No one likes to go to the service station, so it's about time someone gave credit where it is due. I've been using Hollenshade's for 30 years, and have never had a complaint (really!). Besides being friendly, they have always done great work on my many cars for a reasonable price. If the job is not done right (very, very rare), they will correct it free of charge. As I said, no one likes to have to use the service station, but if you need work, I don't believe you can find a better and more honest business
