I have been dealing with them for about 15 years and they are the best company. They are honest and they know their stuff there. They are the best. I do not want them to forget me and I depend on them. My car does not need that many repairs, but when I do, I want them to take care of it. They are great and their prices are reasonable. They are not a discount company, but in every way, they are reasonable and their prices are fair and they are trustworthy.

They were very honest and upfront. They told me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done. I was very pleased with their service. The price was affordable and just about right. They provide honest and friendly service.

Car dealer diagnosed the problem needing to replace clutch and gave an estimate of $2000. Checked the Angie's List directory and found Hollenshades and called for an estimate. They gave me an estimate of $1275 over the phone and reserved a time the following day for the work to be done. I dropped off the car the night before and they called at 2:00 saying the car was ready. The final price was higher than the estimate and wished they would have called to let me know of the higher total. The car has been running well since.

John was very good about getting back to us quickly with an estimate for the work needed on my husband's 2002 Honda CIVIC. He told us what we really should have fixed now and what could wait until later - a real help managing our budget. We will be returning to Hollenshade's the next time any of our cars need repairs.

I have used them for a long time and have everything done there. They provide excellent service, are very honest and have good prices.

The battery went dead and vehicle would not start. I gave vehicle a hot-shot and drove it to their shop for repairs. They determined that the alternator had gone bad and gave us a cost estimate for the repairs. The estimate was reasonable and repairs were authorized. The work was completed before the estimated time and at the estimated cost.

When I called initially, they listened to my problem and invited me to bring my car in at any time without an appointment. They also gave me an idea of what might be wrong and explained they would try to fix it the same day I brought it in if possible. I took the car in and arranged to leave it for the day. They were courteous in taking my information and keeping me informed of progress throughout the day. They did not do any work without my approval and took the time to explain what needed to be done. I am satisfied with the way my car is performing and feel that Hollenshades did a great job with wonderful customer service.

We originally found them on Angie's List. We have been using Hollenshade's for a few years, and we have been 100% satisfied. They have been COMPLETELY honest, totally trustworthy, very accommodating, and nice guys. I have never given a superlative review for a car person, but we have been completely pleased with them. They do what they say they are going to do. If they make an agreement with you, they keep it.

It was a really great experience. It was the best car service I've ever had. It is an absolutely wonderful organization. They are absolutely fantastic. It was an honest and professional organization. It was amazing. They were absolutely incredible. I would recommend them to anyone. I would absolutely use them again.

I was new to the area and did not know one auto shop from another. I discussed the work through emails for about a week prior to going in. The man I worked with was very prompt and courteous in answering my questions and gave me a working estimate of costs. I was given options at every turn and they did not push me towards any one decision but left everything up to me. I took the car in and they got right on it. They gave me an estimate of time as 4.5 hours but it worked out to be longer than that. They gave me little updates here and there to let me know they were on it. When I got the car back I only drove it about a mile before the engine temp rose to the maximum and the alarm went off. I called them immediately and they said to bring it back in. They looked at the car again and tried several solutions that did not work. They eventually found the problem but said it would take another six hours or so to repair plus they needed another part. As it was a holiday weekend this meant I would be without a car for about 4 days. They seemed to feel bad about this inconvenience and volunteered to drive me home. They also agreed to give me a substantial discount due to it being on the heels of the other repairs I had just had them do. They gave me an estimate of the repair cost and said I should have the car by noon on Tuesday. The car was ready by the time they quoted and when I went to get it I found they had brought it in for even less than the discounted price I was quoted.As I sat there waiting for my initial set of repairs I could not help but notice their other customers come and go and the degree of trust and loyalty this shop enjoys. I can see why. How refreshing to be treated with respect! Although I did not like the prospect of pouring a lot of money into a car I do not expect to keep much longer, it was great to find an auto shop that believes in doing quality work and in treating their customers like people!

Their price was very fair for all they did. They were certainly fast! They had a lot of work to do & they did all in 24 hours.

They are very efficient. If they feel that someone else can fix your car for less money, they’ll tell you. I’m very pleased with their service; I’ve never had any problems with what they’ve done.

Called to get time to have my Maxima looked at for a persistent noise problem. The problem was identified and repaired w/in a day. I'm very satisfied w/ the service and its results. The personnel there were very pleasant to deal with. This was my 1st time using Hollenshade's and I'll go back for any future needs.

Love Hollenshades. My family has been going to Hollenshades for 30 years (since I was a young boy). It's one of 2 businesses I deal with where I walk in the door and they know my name. And I know they know all their regular customer's names. They do a fantastic job and honestly tell you what you need and what you don't. I don't think it's cheap (not sure because I haven't price compared - I wouldn't dare go elsewhere), but their work is high quality and I have never, in my 20 years taking cars to them, felt like I am being taken for a ride. I wish more businesses would be like theirs.

I have been getting my serviced at Hollenshade's for a few years now. They are very professional & courteous. The last time I went there was no different. I dropped off my car in the morning without an appointment. They were able to correctly diagnose the issue I was having with my car & it was fixed before I left work

I heard a clunking noise from my suspension. Brought it into Hollenshades for an estimate. I have been going here for years and as always they are honest, forthcoming, and professional. They called me with an estimate before any work was performed. As my car has almost 200k miles on it I wanted to make sure investing the money would be worth it. They did a compression test for me and let me know that the readings were all good (all cylinders within 5-10% of each other). I went ahead and authorized them for the work. A great experience, the car has been running smooth ever since. John even took the time to fill out a shock absorber rebate for me and provide an extra receipt. These guys are just old school honest mechanics. You can trust your car with them!

We have gone there a few times in the last couple months. It was a good deal. They were pretty good with price, and they did not try to tell me I needed 100 extra things done. All I needed was my windshield wipers fixed, and they fixed them. They were honest. Have fair prices and nice to work with. They have great service overall. Yes we plan to use them in the future.

They are very reliable. They tell you how much mileage you have done so that you know when you have to take for servicing next time. I trust them. They have the same mechanic for twenty five years. I would recommend them to others. They know everyone by their name, whoever goes to them. I would keep going to them.

They are absolutely wonderful in the work that they do. Their prices are reasonable.

On Superbowl Sunday I was driving and attempted to shift from second gear to third when I discovered that I had no gears -- the gear shift moved freely in every direction, even when I did not have my foot on the clutch. I had it towed to Hollenshade's, even though they were closed for the day, based on the recommendations here. I dropped my key in the drop box with my contact information. They open at 7:00am during the week; I received a call from them at 7:06 on Monday morning. I explained the problem and they said they would take a look and call me back. They called back at 10:03am with a diagnosis -- I needed a new transmission shifter cable. The estimate was $475 plus tax and they said they could have it done that afternoon. I said go ahead. They called at 1:50pm to tell me it was ready. Total cost (WITH tax) came to $473.42, a good $28 less than I was expecting to pay. Staff was professional and courteous and my car is running smoothly. I will definitely return in the future for any car repair needs.

They were very friendly and called when they said they would to update me on the cost. My brakes are very good now, and I think they did a good job. They also made some recommendations to me and itemized their bill. I was impressed with how thorough the bill was.

Contacted them by phone and got the car dropped off at their location on Thursday. They took a look at it before they closed and was able to tell us what it was and how much it would be with a rough estimate (which turned out to be within 50 dollars after all was said and done). They explained exactly what was wrong, what wasn't damaged, and what they would be doing to get it back running right. The work took them half a day (as advertised), and we picked it up that Friday without further incident. The car drives and sounds much better with the muffler being involved in the whole engine process. They are, without a doubt, my choice for any further auto work.
