I took my sewing machine in on 7/28/13 because of needle alignment problems. The staff were friendly and professional and took all necessary information quickly. Basic machine maintenance was $74.99, which was charged at pick-up. Staff did not try to sell me any additional products or services and assured me that, if an additional cost arose, then I would be called before services were rendered. The completion time that was told to me at time of drop off was 10 days to two weeks, however, service was completed and my machine was ready to be picked up by 7/31/13. All the problems were fixed and my machine works like new. I highly recommend their service. They are also a fabric store, focusing on quilting supplies.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The inspector, not on site at the time I dropped off the machine, called to explain what part was broken, what would be required to fix it, and how long it would take. He was very pleasant and, once I approved the work, I was able to pick the machine up within several days.

Bear's Paw has a resident repairman for Bernina sewing machines and they also will take other brands for repair, but they claim they send these out. They did a good job of cleaning and lubing my Bernina ,but ordering replacement feet was another matter. They are not very organized and it took a long time for them to figure out if they had the parts in stock. Then when they didn't, it took another month or two and some prodding from me to finally get the parts (someone forgot to place the order). This was frustrating. I also left another machine there for them to repair. They didn't send it out after all and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so I wasn't charged at all, but I did have to listen to a very long, detailed report about how the guy couldn't find the problem.
