AAA - Towson

The mechanics worked diligently to determing the cause of the leak. When they determined the source they tld me the cost would be $4,000.00 and that due to the age of the car it was not worth it. How often in this day and age will you find an auto mechanic with that much honesty ?

Prior to today's visit I had visited the AAA service center due to a fluid leak which was staining my driveway. They did a diagnostic and found nothing. So they told me to put a piece of cardboard ( which they provided) and watch for leaks . Well it took a little over two weeks to see visible staining on the cardboard at which point it returned to AAA. I am so impressed with the quality of service at the AAA repair facility on York Road. I have been using this service center for nearly nine years and I've never had one complaint about their service. Today's visit was a real eye opener as to how ethical and trustworthy management and their staff are. I overheard the manager, Anthony Ganzermiller (Tony) tell a lady what repairs were needed for her car and what the cost would be. Then Tony told her for the age of the car it was an unnecessary expense and that she did not need to proceed with the repairs. I was REALLY IMPRESSED that finally there existed in this world an HONEST mechanic ! A short time later Tony approached me and carefully explained all the issues with my 16 year old car. So I asked how long and how much ? Tony rattled off the cost of each repair and then summed it up with a total of 3 to 4 thousand. BUT he than followed up as he did with the other customer that I could avoid doing the repairs and manage just by stopping in for a fluid check frequently

My AC was blowing warm air. They did a diagnostic on it and determined that my problem could only be traced with model specific equipment. Only available at a Honda dealer. Since they could not determine what the problem was, they deleted the diagnostic charge which I thought was very fair.

Started going to AAA from March 2012. They are very professional and responsive and the place is neat and clean with state of the art garage and good waiting room if you want to wait while the work is being done. I have AAA membership so I go there. The work they do comes with a warranty.

It went well. Instead of making another appointment, got most of the stuff taken care of. I am a AAA member. Just the air conditioner check up is pending as they didn't have some part or equipment available. Folks at the AAA were professional and great.
