Matts Home Solutions

I hired Matt's Home Solution to refinish the hardwood floors in my home. Service dates were set with Matt a good two months before they were to begin work. Matt was aware that my home would be vacant as it was getting ready for sale and I would not be in town when he was to do the floors. Matt was instructed to contact my realtor for entry into the home. I found out on the day the floors were to be completed (it was a three day job) via a text message that Matt had been sick and the job had not even been started. Matt did not bother to tell me on the day the job was to start that there would be a delay. He also did not bother to return my phone call but rather just sent a text message with an apology that the job had not been done. Due to a strict time frame of needing this work done, I fired Matt's Home Solution and found another company to do the job in two days the following week for the same price. I then had the pleasure of trying to get my deposit back. It took over one month for him to send me a check. I kept checking with him regarding payment and he had one excuse after another why it was not sent. I did finally receive my money back. I would not hire this company due to unprofessionalism and lack of communication. I have no idea what the quality of the work would have been as I fired the company due to the above reasons
