I called them up and got a quote from them. They came out and did the work. They set up a couple of shingle areas, replaced some gutters, and replaced three or four screens and windows. I will use them again for the fact that, I tried to get some information or a quote from couple of other companies who said they would come and do good work but wouldn't give me a quote or tell me when they would come out and work. They were very competitive and reasonable. They work with insurance companies.

I called a couple of companies, and I guess a lot of people were getting their roof work done. They came, gave me the quote and then followed up. They completed the work pretty quickly and were gone; I did not have any problems with it. Everything was done pretty well, and it has been good so far. Everything is holding up well, and it is not leaking. The workers were very professional about their work and communicative. The price was competitive; in fact, it was lesser than other people. They were pretty responsive and stuck to what they said. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We found them on Angie’s List. Their quote was a little high. We were trying to roof the house and planning to move in a year. We did not want the best quality of everything. Therefore, they were actually very quick and very responsive to review the quote and then sent it back to us, but we had some other things going on so took a while to get back to them. The biggest thing and one of the reasons for us to go back to them at the end was that they were very responsive in getting to us and getting us the quote. The sales person sent the quote to us and then followed it up. He wanted to talk to us. When I said the initial quote was little high, he wanted to know little bit more about what our goals were to see if there was some way he could reduce the cost a bit and he was able to. I really thought they were very attentive, asked the right questions and little more pushy about it.

The condo building that I live in had a number of leaks, and the skylights were not properly sealed. John Corley came out promptly and gave a comprehensive written estimate later the same day he visited. He was professional, courteous, and thorough. He found problems that were both obvious and subtle, and took digital photographs which were later used by the workers to identify the problem areas on the roof. His staff was professional and answered any questions that I had. The work was completed quickly and is high quality. I am glad to recommend them for your roofing needs.

Repairer came to provide an estimate. He determined that the job was minor. He offered to make the repair on the spot. I agreed and the work was completed at the quoted price. Within an hour the job was done. I was completely satisfied.

I really loved them. They were like the 5th roofer that we had used for the same problem and they were the only ones who were actually able to fix the problem. We are really happy with them. They were excellent all over. They were really good with being on time, being on estimate and really sending out people to do their work. They send like a crew to find what the problem is and to give an estimate. Then another crew would come. So, it is almost like you are waiting for them twice. That?s the only part I didn?t like. I guess that?s kind of standard for them to send somebody to look at the problem, come with a solution and then send another crew to actually do the job. They really did an excellent job. They were very professional and knew what they were doing, which was important to us. I can?t compare their price, but I definitely didn?t mind paying that since they were the 5th roofer and they really did fix the problem. They were very good.

They were recommended to us by a company we worked with. We dealt with the owner. I asked for lot more than he actually did. He actually never tried to oversell because obviously we didn't really needed it. I never saw the guy and I never met the guy. He came out and looked at it told us to do it so we did all over the phone. I think my wife met him. He came and did the work at very fair as well as reasonable price. He did the gutter work went in out and we were happy. He was fair and reasonable. He knew his stuff and he wouldn't disturb. We are actually calling him again.

They looked like they knew what they were doing. They couldn't do the interior work so we went with a company that could do everything. We were very impressed and if we had any roofing needs we wouldn't hesitate to call them again to get a quote.

After meeting with several roofing contractors I selected Corley's Roofing based on its very positive rating on Angie's List, the Better Business Bureau and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. Mr. Josh Ralls, the sales representative, was very patience through all of my many questions and contract revisions. He ultimately helped me make up my mind on the color and type of roofing to have installed on my home. The company normally provides a five year labor guarantee but offered me a 10 year warranty to match other competitors. The workers were also pleasant. They even tightened up the nails in my gutters as a bonus without me asking. Any concerns that I raised with the company were resolved to my satisfaction. This company cares about its repetition and will ensure that its customers are completely satisfied. I am very happy with their work and the look of my new roof.

Contacted this company via email through the Angie's site. They responded by the first day even referencing the Angie's website. They left a voicemail saying they would call me to get more information and to set up an appointment. I didn't hear from them for 2 days so I called them back. the representative said they would have an estimator contact me the next day. It's been 3 days and I haven't heard from them since. Very poor service. If they didn't want the job all they had to do was say so.

Very polite, professional, and responsive. One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor.

I have been calling this company to get them to come out and give an estimate. I was referred to them by other companies unavailable to immediately come out. I get a call from Mr. Corely about a week after I first called to request an estimate. He tells me when he can come by to take a look at the roof. Unfortunately, I couldn't be available to meet him and asked him to schedule for another time or to go on the roof and let me know what he finds. He said he would look at the roof and let me know. I have never heard from him again. I even tried to call and reschedule for a time when I can be available. This week, after I called one more time, his office calls me back and is clueless as to who I am and why I called. The woman who called said she would speak with Mr. Corley and get back to me. Again, still haven't heard from anyone. I don't want to do business with this company now. If they aren't responding to my request for an estimate, I don't trust their response once i pay them to do the work. UPDATE: Mr. Corley personally addressed my issue and responded promptly and professionally. I hired them to repair roofs at two rowhomes we own in DC. Previous roof repair by other companies had proven useless! We have had extreme weather this year and throughout all the rainstorms and snow, the roofs have not LEAKED! I also think the pricing for both repairs were very fair and reasonable. Thank you to Mr. Corley for responding to my complaint and fixing our roofs. I will definitely use him and again and have already recommended him to several friends.

The two man crew did job in about two hours. Looks good,gutters tightened. Only wish they had called before they came. Had no idea what day they were coming although I called the office twice after submitting down payment. Haven't had a real downpour yet, but assume all is okay.

The crew arrived on time and commenced work. The old antenna and all of its cable were removed from the roof and side of the house. All vent stacks were sanded and painted. The two gable vent slats were repaired by a member suspended from a harness. All material was removed from the yard. The roof has a much neater appearance. In seven years we will contact these people for roof replacement if their standards continue to be as high.

John Corely provided the estimate, and there was no need for revision. Three options were clearly presented for different kinds of roofing. The work had to conform to historical society standards as we are located near the US Capitol. The quality work was done cleanly, efficiently and effectively by a team of five or six men, with a pleasing and lasting result.

I received an estimate from Corley but went with another contractor because the lack of responsiveness from this company. The other contractor fit me into his tight schedule and had an estimate before he left my house. This wasn't a verbal estimate but a professional printed contract that was itemized and brochures of the product he was using. He also left a business card with his cell phone and email incase I had follow-up questions. Corley came out and after several days I finally received a estimate. I had to call and ask when I would get it and was told by the end of the day. The end of the day came and no contract so I called agained and was told first thing the next morning. I should not have to call and follow up when they make a commitment and don't meet it. They should call me and explain why they can't make their commitments. Also, after I received the estimate I had follow up questions and again no response to my email. They need to focus on their responsiveness because this is how a new customer will judge them. When you have leaks in your roof you cannot wait days to get an estimate. In this day and age that is unacceptable.

This is a great company. John Corley came for the estimate, calling twice before his arrival to ensure he was coming at a convenient time (I missed the first call). The estimate was competitive, but not knock-your-socks-off cheap (hence a B instead of an A). They were upfront from the start that it would take 2-3 weeks after contract to perform the work, which is exactly what it took. On our appointed date, the workers came by late in the afternoon to apologize that they had taken too long on a previous job, said they'd get materials that day and start early the following day. They did as they said. They were very professional and competant. I got a call saying that the gutters would be replaced a couple of days later. The day before our gutters were to be replaced, we had a really bad storm,,,crazy wind, many, many trees down, so I expected a no show, but they arrived and did the work quickly and competantly. The gutters were performed by a subcontractor, but I didn't care because the quality looked good to me. These are now my go-to roofers.

Corleyfixed a leaky skylight that another company could not. They came on schedule, were polite, and most importantly the light is not leaking.

Estimate was quick, and detailed. Spoke directly with John Corley, who answered all questions. Work was completed as scheduled, in a neat and professional manner. I would definitely use Corley again.

Great experience overall. Received a reasonable quote at appointed time. Company came out and did the work a few weeks later (took a bit longer than was hoping, but they seem busy, which is probably a result of their high quality service). I needed a few adjustments and they came back out and made a couple of tweaks to the work a couple of days later. Final price was exactly the same as the quote. Totally painless. They did exactly what they said they would do for the exact price quoted. Couldn't ask for more.

Mr Corley, the owner, came out to estimate the job. He was personable and professional and told us that his crew would be out as soon as the rainy weather dried up. We asked whether he could avoid bringing a dump truck onto the soggy back yard where it would create giant ruts, and he agreed easily to use a dump truck in the driveway to take away the debris from the job. We paid a deposit, and several weeks later, we got a call a couple of days in advance telling us to expect a crew. At least eight workers arrived with a foreman, and between 8am and 6pm, they completely stripped and replaced our roof. The crew was extremely polite and very careful not to leave litter from snacks, etc, in the yard. Their cleanup job was so thorough that it was difficult to find any remnants of roofing materials anywhere on the property. We were billed for the remainder of the cost, which matched the estimate exactly. I highly recommend Corley Roofing: for both the quality and the efficiency of their work.

They 3 guys that they sent over did a fine job. The cost ($450) was exactly what was quoted -- no surprises there. They arrived a little bit later than promised (around 3pm instead of around 1-2pm) but given the workload in our area, it was understandable. I was happy to get someone out at any point that day. Once the crew arrived, they worked non-stop until the roof was clear. They finished in under 2hrs.

I have used them numerous times. They are prompt and courteous. They do good work. Their prices are reasonable. The last time I used their services, I spent around $900. I think they are very skilled and very honest. They know their trade. I will use them again in the future.

They are reasonable, and I was satisfied with what they charged. The workmanship was done well. I was satisfied with the work they did.

The job went very smoothly. Corley showed up on time on performed the repair work, cleaned the gutters, and coated the roof and ductwork as expected. No surprises.
