I met with several roofing companies listed on Angie's List as well as a few that were recommended by other people. I did not write a review for all the companies, but I wanted to document my experiences with this company. After meeting with everyone, I narrowed down my list to my top 3 choices to do the work at my house. Additionally, I scaled down the scope of work by delaying the siding and window replacement. Corley Roofing was one of my top choices. Russ Reynolds met with me at my home in May 2017. I explained the scope of the project at that time, and he explained any issues that he saw. I found him extremely knowledgeable about roofing and learned a lot from speaking with him. He took the time to discuss everything me. During our conversation, I did not feel that he was trying to sell me something that I didn't need. Within a few weeks, I received a written proposal that itemized all the work that we discussed. I found the price to be comparable to the other 2 companies that I liked. The main difference with the company that I choose was the workmanship warranty was 5 years versus 10 years and the wind warranty on the roof was 110 mph versus 130 mph. I attempted to contact Russ to discuss those 2 main issues but my work schedule made it extremely difficult to reach him at a convenient time. I presume that I could have submitted my questions to him via email but my preference was to discuss it with him via phone. I did try to schedule a time that we could speak over the phone but that did not work either. Although I hired another company and am happy with the work, I believe it is important to receive bids from more than one company. Corley Roofing is a company worth contacting about your exterior projects. For instance, I found the proposal for the siding replacement to be reasonable as well, and the workmanship warranty was the same as the other 2 companies. Depending on your needs, there are certain exterior projects that they do that other roofing companies do not. Ultimately, I choose another company but my experience with Corley Roofing and Russ Reynolds was positive.

John Corley and his team are top notch. He came to look at the roof and give us an estimate right away. His team started the job, and when we raised some concerns about the work that was being done he took care of it right away. You can't ask for better service. A great professional with loads of experience. His price was very fair and reasonable. He and his company will be the one that we go back to when we need a new roof for any further roof repairs. He doesn't set out to be the cheapest, but I really do think that he and his family run company work hard to be fair and to do a really good job, which they did.

I give Corley points for being very responsive to my phone call, timely and professional with the representative they sent out to have a look. But the gentleman spent only a few minutes at my house after I showed him easy access to my roof. He stuck his hand under the cupola roof (into which the weathervane is inserted) and snapped a photo. Later we got an estimate for $1200 to do this work with nothing concrete on what effort was needed other than a listing of potential timber material costs. (Timber? We weren't looking to replace the cupola). During a phone call, Mr. Corley told me that it was unclear how much work would be involved and that was a standard rate. Take it or leave it, essentially. If he wasn't clear on how much work would be involved, how come he couldn't charge incrementally, depending on what was needed? He wouldn't entertain that question. That was his rate. Period. So my husband and I bought a flex ladder, went onto the roof last weekend, laid it up the side of the cupola. We were able to lift out the old one and slip in the new, with a little height adjustment tinkering, in less than 2 hours and for the price of the $80 ladder. It works perfectly too, moving with the wind. I know they need to pay their people for time, but $300 per hour (assuming two people) seems excessive. His inflexibility is what I will remember.

Exceptional work! They did a great job and were done in a day. Their prices were extremely affordable and fair.

They were outstanding. They did work for me a few years ago, I chose them because they were number one at the time.

I may have provided a review last February/March and wanted to update it. Since the new roof was installed, our electric bill have absolutely plummeted. I have a 3,200 sq. ft. home and it is all electric. Here is my electric bills since the installation: 08/25/2017 -$168.31 07/28/2017 -$227.13 06/30/2017 -$141.63 05/26/2017 -$196.36 04/28/2017 -$213.26 03/31/2017 -$333.79 Josh told me this roof would save money but this is ridiculous. On average, my bills have been $100 - $150 less per month! I have received multiple compliments on how the roof looks and when you add in the savings per month, you can'y go wrong with Corley Roofing.

They did a good job--roof looks great. Had a rain delay but that could not be avoided. All debris was cleaned up completely. Would recommend and use again.

It went well. They arrived a little late but called to notify me. They went right to work, showed me pictures of the final product and left. They were professional and I would definitely recommend them to others.

This was a two-year+ project by my design/circumstances. I worked with Tom Bingham, who served as project manager for my roof replacement in 2014 and on this project as well. Mr. Bingham was very patient and forthcoming in providing estimates for for the windows project as well as answering any and all questions I had concerning the project (and I had a few!). To date, I have found Corley Roofing to be a good company to do business with. Their representatives seemed to try to accommodate my needs and work within my schedule. While I had dreaded doing the project because of the amount of coordination I foresaw on my part, the project management and installment aspects went very well, and none of the pitfalls I imagined materialized. The installation team was headed by Ryan, who reminded me of the type of expertise and good customer service I used to take for granted. The team arrived at my home at 7:25 a.m. They were to remove and replace 15 windows of various sizes. This was accomplished, with all debris removed for inside and outside the home, by 1:00 p.m. the same day. Before departing, Ryan showed me how to operate the windows and pointed out one window sash that had been cracked during shipment. He answered any questions I had during and after the installation. Mr. Bingham came shortly after the installation team left, took information needed to order a relacement sash and delivered said sash a few weeks later. Although it is only a month after the installation of my new windows, I am very pleased with the way they look and operate. The only downside to the operation was DUST. The installation team vacuumed all the rooms where they worked, but a very fine film of dust had to be removed from furnishings which I understood to be part of the replacement experience. This was a job well done on all fronts. Thank you, Corley Roofing associates!

They were very professional and responsive. They were upfront about cost estimates. When they did the actual, they were great about communicating changes, on the roofing they can't do it when the weather is bad. So, we had a couple of dates scheduled, but because of other jobs that got pushed back then, ours had to get pushed back. They were actually able to get it done sooner than I thought, but they were great at communicating all those changes. They cleaned up well. I don't think we found any debris or anything around the house. I think they left an extension cord, and we let them know and they came back to get it, but no debris or anything around the house. Communication the day of the replacement, there was some confusion as to whether or not they'd finish in one day or not. They ended up having to come back and finish a little bit of it the next day because the storm hit in the afternoon. The communication the day of about that could've been better. We checked a number of different companies they were reasonable and had good reviews. They were recommended to us by a friend. So, the other companies who had good reviews, I think they had $15,000 estimates. The roof looks great. I never had a hard time getting a hold of them they were great. They showed up when they said they were going to. They were always great.

They were truly responsive to our time-sensitive request and, without over-promising, found a way to work us into their busy schedule and got our work done when we needed it done.

A representative came out promptly after we called and assessed the situation. We were advised of the work that needed to be done and were told a representative would get back to us with a proposal that included the cost of fixing the leak. The proposal was submitted, the price quoted was satisfactory, an appointment was made, and the work was done.

I was impressed with them. I found them very professional and if I had to do it over I'd probably go with them. It's the most professional group I'd seen and thorough and very reasonable. They were highly recommended to me by someone that I respected highly. Well, in the end, I would've used them if I had been smart, but I didn't find out about them in time. I found their estimates to be the most reasonable.

The work done was of good quality. The result was only fair as they did not follow the notes taken by the person who had come out to do the initial site visit. The company has problems with it's back office operations and communications. I would suggest making sure that any work is specific in the contract and track costs carefully.

Everything has been good. They came out quick to do the temporary fix. He has been very informative and true to his word. I am happy with his work. He also verified that I needed a moisture barrier behind the siding, which another company did not tell me.

Corley Roofing did an excellent job. The sales rep, Josh, spent time explaining exactly what needed to be done and what was optional. I felt I understood the job. The roofers finished in a day and a half, leaving no trace of their work other than the new roof (no boxes, shingles, or other debris).
