A tree damaged the roof and gutter during a recent storm. Their response was prompt considering the amount of damage in the surrounding area. The estimate came in $500.00 under the first one we obtained. They were prompt, with a call letting me know they were on their way. The crew was very courteous and professional. The clean up was awesome. There was nothing left laying around, either in the yard or the driveway when they finished. The job was completed in the estimated 1 day, as promised.

They were very good. They managed to identify and problem and fix the leak. They were timely, they cleaned up after themselves and their price was reasonable. I would give them an A for everything.

Excellent. They were professional, efficient and VERY neat. When they were finished, everything was completely clean...like they'd never been there! The on-site team told me that with slate roofs, it's sometimes hard to find the EXACT source of a leak. Well, that was the case for one of my leaks. A couple weeks after they'd made the repairs and I'd paid the bill, a day of rain arrived and one of the troublesome leaks returned. I immediately called the company and was assured that someone would get back to me right away. The next morning, I received a call from John Corley (owner) who told me that one of his crews would be at my house that day. It actually required two trips (several days and one rain storm apart), but they persevered and indeed finally found the leak! I was very pleased with the entire approach to my job...from initial estimate to the final work product. I now consider Corley Roofing "my roofer." I will use them to maintain my roof for as long as I own this home.

I talked with a few local companies specializing in the Spanish tile roof and finally I decided to go with the Corley (even they were slightly more expensive than competitors) They came a few times (six) to put a new flashing around the chimney, replaced several broken tiles on the roof. They are very responsive, professional and easy to deal. I highly recommend working with them.

They were fair and competitive in their pricing, based on the pricing I got from their competitors. I would recommend them to others based on what I've been able to learn about them through the process of being an Angie's List member. I also used several other databases to research the company as well.

Tom Bingham from Corley was amazing to deal with! He was great from the second he answered our emergency call on a Sunday (after another handyman caused leaking in our house from power washing), following through on the whole process and afterward! His level of professionalism and information that he could teach us was great! Tom scheduled the work for his team... they completed the work with just a hiccup of leaving some trash around afterward, but the second I got in touch with Tom to tell him, they were back to clean it up! All in all it was a great experience and I would, and have recommended Tom and Corley roofing to others already! The only reason I gave them a B for quality versus A, was that we haven't yet tried to have our house power washed again... so I want to be sure always before giving an excellent rating!

I called them to repair my roof but they recommended a new roof. They offered that they would repair it if I wanted them to but I opted to get the new roof instead. They have repaired my roof in the past.

We got estimates from a couple of people and they were good. They took care of everything.

Job went very well from start to finish. Prompt service and cleanup afterwards.

Tom (not sure if he was the project manager or sales rep) responded to my calls or emails usually within a few hours. Because we were having a lot of work done on our house, I was offered a managers discount to have everything done at the same time. Roofers and window replacement teams worked at different times, but everyone arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled. After everything was done, I noticed some scratches on the windows, I called Tom, and he had someone come out and repair them, and they look perfect. I recently noticed a ripple in the roof (about four months after installation). I will submit an update to say how that problem is resolved.

I had a leak above a window and the fascia board needed replacing. Came within a few days of the request (since it was not an emergency). Then less than a week later it was completed and its beens about a year with no issues!Highly recommend them.

It was awesome. I had a leak in the roof and they came out to inspect it but weren't able to fix it on the spot. They were able to temporarily patch it because we were getting a week of rain. They patched it until they could come back and do the permanent fix. I really appreciated that. They were just there for an inspection but they went ahead and patched it. The overall experience was excellent. I would use this company again.

I called the first time for an estimate, they came right away and then came back to repair the gutter within a week. This time, same thing, called to have them come to look at a loose vent we needed to repair for home inspection report. He came right away, and then came back with a VERY tall ladder to repair it. I felt the cost was reasonable both times, and they were prompt.

I would use them again. It went well. They came and did an estimate then came back and did the job. It was done pretty quick and then they sent me the bill.

They were nice guys and seemed to do a good job. They did a wonderful job tearing off the roof. They had about 11 guys doing the job. They worked hard and got everything done within 1 day. However, the drain was not set correctly. I have a flat roof, and now the water does not drain off the roof when it rains. I now have to sweep off gallons and gallons of water when it rains, equivalent to about 3 bathtubs. They were such good guys that it was still a good experience. They used quality products and everything looks beautiful. I'm just a little upset that I will have a problem draining the water now for the next 20 years.

Our experience with Corley Roofing was excellent. The rep with whom we dealt was extremely punctual, thorough and professional. He worked with us and our insurance company, and arranged for the company to come carry out work as quickly as feasible. The work itself was very well done in terms of time, professionalism and quality. Subsequently, Corley Roofing showed great patience in waiting for our payment (as we were waiting for funds from the insurance company). It was wonderful working with them - they provide a high-quality service and product. I would definitely recommend Corely Roofing to anyone looking for a roofing company.

Excellent work and really a fast turnaround time based on the urgent need to have a leaking skylight replaced before another heavy rain storm. Especially considering that the whole area was recovering from a hurricane and so has services was in much demand

To start with I called my original roofer to come out and check out the problem. After two messages left; I called again, and spoke with a person telling them about the left messages and problem. They didn't seemed concerned about the left messages, and didn't act that willing to hear Me out until I explained that They were the company that put the roof on. Then I got a response that someone would get in touch with Me in the next couple of days. Well, that never came... Needless to say I'm through with them. The second company I called did come out after a few days and took pictures and called Me back stating what they thought was the problem and the cost. I did call them back to ask a few questions about the exactly what they would be doing and when they could do it. I was told they needed to check their scheduling and would get back to Me. Never heard from them again... I then called CORLEY ROOFING & SHEET METAL CO.< INC> which I found in Angie's List, and I'm glad I did. Even though they said to have a backup and would maybe take a few days to get back to Me, they were honest and up front. I got a phone call (from Tom Bingham) the following week and a date was set up to inspect the roof. This was the first of a few meetings and calls I had with Tom. The day He came to inspect the roof, He was right on time. We talked about the problem for awhile and a few other things, but mostly the roof situation. I showed Him some pictures of the leaks inside and He also checked them out Himself. He then preceded to get on the roof and check it out. While on the roof, I asked Him all sorts of questions. He answered everything I asked and didn't seem to mind all I threw at Him. He responded to everything and answered all My questions. All this time, He was inspecting the roof and talking to Me at the same time. When He came down, He told Me what He thought the problem was and what it would take to fix it. It made sense and He told me He would send an estimate to Me online. I had the estimate and contract in two days. The price seemed a little high, but I decided to get the work done anyway.(everything seems to cost more nowadays) I sent the contract back with a deposit. Tom got back to Me and We set up a tentative time due to weather and backlog of work. I was surprised when He called sooner than We thought to come and do the work. The crew was basically on time, only a little late. I checked with the head man as to what they were going to do; and all was right. They stayed a little later than WE thought they would and had to work a little in the dark. This concerned me a little. I sent an email to Tom and ask if he could stop by and check the work when He had the time or would be in the area. He emailed Me right back and said sure no problem, but would have to check His schedule. He set up a time to come by ( only a few days later ). He was right on time, checked out the roof and satisfied my concerns. I wasn't questioning the work that was done, just concerned about working in the dark. TOM BINGHAM has reassured Me that there are still professional and hard working people out there who really care about the services they provide. Tom did everything in His power to satisfy Me and get the job done. He accomplished this. I was very pleased with the work performed and in the time frame it was accomplished. Everything was done as specified. The crew did a great job and cleaned up everything before they left. The roof looks great!! I was especially pleased working with TOM BINGHAM. He is an asset to the company and I would recommend Corley Roofing & Sheet Metal Co., Inc. to anyone needing roof work done of any kind.

I was warned that they were running a bit behind and it would probably be 7-10 days before I heard from someone to do the estimate. I finally got a call about 2 weeks later - a voicemail on my office answering machine. I called back and was informed that he had already done the estimate and I should see it in the (physical) mail "soon". So, I waited, and another week and a half later I received an email detailing the estimate. The email also states that they are "several weeks behind (weather permitting)". Since weather doesn't usually permit roof work in December, I have no idea when they would get to my job. So, they are not a good company to call if you have a deadline or worries about the weather. Additionally, I'm not sure from this estimate if they think I have gutter guards in hand to be installed (I don't) or if the quote includes them purchasing guards. The estimate ($250) is over half of what I originally paid for cleaning, purchase, and installation of guards 7 years ago, and well over double what I paid to have the gutter cleaned and the damaged guards removed this summer, so it seems high to not include the purchase of the guards. The way the line item is worded, though, seems like they believe I still have the original guards (I don't, they were damaged). Overall, I wasn't given good expectations on how long it would take to have an estimate in hand, I don't have any idea when they would be doing the work, and I don't have faith that the estimate is inclusive of what I need (the purchase of new guards). I did not ask this company to do the job.

They went up on my roof, and also provided me with pictures. I decided not to use them because I noticed that I would have had to pay for a permit for them to be able to work on my house.

I appreciate the fact that with all of the business generated through the Angie's List coupon, they were able to come out and give me an estimate. Corley was one of four bids I received for getting a new roof on my townhouse. I didn't get a call ahead of time for when they were going to come out, so I was unprepared. Unlike the roofer I ended up hiring, the guy from Corley didn't come in and look at the water damage I'm seeing or talk to me about what needed to be done. Fortunately, I already knew where the issues were and why needed to be done. The quote was very specific and spelled out what would be done. The price was reasonable at first glance, but knowing that I need to have some of the wood replaced, I was able to figure that the end price could be much higher. Line items, such as having to bring out a carpenter if wood needs to be replaced, and certain disclaimers ("not responsible for dust in the house") made me a little uncomfortable. I am on a tight budget for this roof replacement, and I can't afford to have big surprises. I would rather have the quote come in a little high and then be surprised if the final price is lower. Given that it's obvious from the ground that there is warping in one corner of my roof and that inside you can see where water is getting in, I would also have preferred they factor at least that section of the repair into the cost. The contractor I'm hiring did that and also is going to remove/replace any wet insulation - very important! I'm sure this is a very good company, but given all factors I had to consider, I respectfully declined this quote.

They came out to repair the vent tubing around a vent pipe. He did a new rain collar for me. He was here and gone within a half-hour. Ever since he was here there has no leakage.

The team that came to do the estimate explained very clearly what problems we had (due to a very bad previous roofer). They took photos, enlarged them, and showed us where the problems were as we stood in front of the house. They went inside and looked at damaged ceilings to get a better idea of where we had leaks. They were articulate and very helpful. The estimate was sent within a day by email. The team that came to do the repairs was equally professional. They did everything they said they would do. They took an entire day to do the work, coming within the window that the company had promised us. They explained in detail what they had done. The roof looks beautiful now and we don't expect to have further problems with it. I will definitely have Corley back for yearly maintenance. We obviously had to spend money on the roof, but you get what you pay for.
