still waiting.... I've now checked with a competitor who promised me a proposal within 3 days.

Good price, clearly knowledgeable, very courteous. They weren't just trying to get me to do more, they were really trying to address the problem.

The project went great! Corley's estimate was consistent with other roofing companies we contacted. They were in touch regularly regarding when they would come out to do the work and updated me how much old plywood needed to be replaced (which affected the initial estimate). The clean-up job was so thorough that I didn't even realize they had completed the work until I received a text from Corley updating me on the project. I looked out the window and realized I had a new roof! When it comes time to replace the main roof on our house, we will be calling them.

Russ showed up today as promised. He mistakenly dialed the wrong number on 4/30. He inspected the roof and found cracks in the chimney which he felt was my water leak problem. He's going to refer me to another company to repair chimney. Russ didn't charge me anything! He was very Professional and a REAL NICE guy to chat with. He is definitely a people person with a superb personality associated with years of experience. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Someone answered the phone when I called and passed a message to have the roofer who would come to my house call to set up a time. He called back within 24 hours to schedule and gave me an actual time, not a huge window. Josh showed up exactly when he said he would. He evaluated the roof and let me know that everything looked fine. I asked about the fee for his time and he told me that the estimate was free. It is so rare to find a service provide who will a) show up on time and b) not nickel and dime you. I would use these guys in a heartbeat and refer them to anyone just based on their professional attitude. Keep up the honest work, Corley's!!

Corley Roofing is absolutely outstanding! I hope that Angie's will give them a Page of Happiness smile and another Super Service Award. In fact, it's hard to express just what a tremendous job they did. Corley is a very professional operation, which was apparent from start to finish. As to cost, Corley was among the least expensive of the companies I had estimate the job. Having seen what a great job they did, I interpret their relatively low cost to mean that they want to be honest and not overcharge customers. My roof had two layers of roofing on it. Corley tore off both layers and replaced any boards beneath them that were rotted or damaged. They expect to need to do that and build most of it into the cost estimate. However, Josh Ralls told me in advance that they would have to charge more if more new boards were needed than were included in that estimate. They did end up with a small additional charge for boards, and that was fine because Josh had warned me about it in advance. It turned out that they got to my job even earlier that they had indicated. When Corley arrived, there were many men working on my roof, and they were very efficient, bringing everything they needed to do the job. Again, a highly professional, well-organized company. I have a very large roof, but they nevertheless finished the roofing job in about 1.5 days. They came back a few days later to do the guttering and completed that in one day. When they finished, they cleaned up fully and thoroughly; I didn't find even one nail, scrap of wood, or piece of roofing material on the ground. Everything looks perfect to me, and, better yet, no leaks! If you'd like a perfect roofing or gutter job for a reasonable price, by all means hire Corley Roofing. I have never worked with a better contractor for any kind of job, and I can guarantee you'll be happy. I recommend Corley most highly and without reservation.

Provider provided a contract for $1,235 to do requested gutter and downspout repair/replacement plus provided an "option" to repair tiles in the amount of $1,140. Description of work was in my opinion lacking sufficient detail, i.e., existing condition of gutter/downspout and length of gutter to replace, number of tiles to replace, color of materials (i.e., existing gutter was almond and white was not acceptable), etc. Contract included questionable statements plus a disclaimer re no responsibility 'for interior including dust'...which did not make sense to me. Upon request for a modified contract description and explanation of disclaimer, there was no follow-up or further communication from Provider. I received better contract offer and experience from Gutters for Less.

We have used Corley Roofing for more than 20 years; the company has offered outstanding service each time. Mr. Corley is personable and very client oriented

I haven't decided who will do the work yet because with all the storms we've been having in D.C., the roofers have all been busy. I have one more person who will give me an estimate, and then I'm going to decide, but Corley showed up on time and emailed bid like they said, so they were professional that way. They honored their commitment. Their estimate was very high compared to everyone else.

I live a few hours away, and therefore much of my contact was by email and telephone, although I was there when they started putting on the roof. It went extremely well. I had another bid from a very reputable firm, whose price was a bit lower, but I decided to go with Corley Roofing, as I felt very confident in their abilities and professionalism.

Replaced gutter system after our copper downspouts were stolen. Extremely responsive and professional. Highly recommend.

They did a wonderful job. The customer service was excellent. They even took their shoes off before they came in. I appreciated that.

1. Tenant notified me of leak on Oct 13th. 2. I contacted Corley Roofing on Oct 14th, described the situation, and requested estimate. 3. On 15 Oct I drove from Lewes, DE to Washington, DC and met (on site) with estimator in mid-afternoon. 4. In spite of other service calls (due to recent torrential rains) the estimator was patient and thorough. 5. The estimator removed blockage from drain and temporarily corrected downspout and damage issues caused by deck steps. 6. On 17 Oct Corley and I reached agreement on required work and cost. And I paid a 1/3rd deposit. 7. On 18 Oct the work was performed. (Because of severity of issues, Corley put our project high on work-queue priority list. 8. On 24 Oct I returned to D.C. to inspect the work and was highly impressed with thoroughness and appearance. Summary of work performed: (a) Removed stairs to 2nd floor roof deck (the stairs had been recently installed and blocked the down spout and drainage). (b) Patched the roof area that had been damaged by stairs to deck. (c) Reinstalled steps _ _ and designed and installed a new (very creative) 'first' step that does not block down spout. (d) Removed 'old' rain gutter from 3rd floor (that had flowed east to west and gushed water in area of steps to deck) and replaced it with new 6" gutter that flows west to east to avoid drainage barrier caused by deck steps). (e) Extended new 4" drain pipe to distant end of 2nd floor roof to disperse future water flow from 3rd floor drains. (f) Painted aged tin siding (extending from 3rd to 2nd floor) with elastomeric coating. (g) Caulked and sealed trim on two 3rd floor windows and new 3rd floor door that had not been properly installed or sealed. I paid remainder due on 24 Oct. And, the price paid was price estimated. No extras. No surprises. No sur-charges.

Corley roofing was one of three roofing contractors I called, asking for a roof inspection and estimate for repairs of some minor damage due to weather and possibly a nosy squirrel. Josh came out to inspect my roof and provide me an estimate to repair it, free of charge. He showed up on time and was thorough and quick in his work. I had to leave for work as Josh was wrapping up his visit, so he said he would email me the estimate in a day or so, which he did. His estimate for the repair was clear, and he included pictures of the problem areas with his estimate, so I could get a good look at exactly what needed to be done. He separately provided his estimate for the likely life span of our existing roof, and what it would cost to replace it now. Given his assessment indicated our roof was in pretty good condition, and still had a few years of life left in it, we ultimately decided against getting a completely new roof. But it was extremely helpful to have that information and to be able to make an informed decision. The estimate I got from Corley was fair. It fell between the low and high estimates, and all three companies had received high marks on Angie's List. Ultimately, we decided to have another contractor perform the minor repair work, but it was a close call for us, and I would definitely tell other homeowners that my experience with Corley was a positive one, and that they were very good, very professional, and very competitive.

Job was completed quickly while we were not at home. Came back and adjusted water diverters after first major storm.

Corley representative called prior to set up an appointment. During the appointment did a through check inside and out and determined we had a small leak in the vent caps through the roof and recommended replacing with a higher quality product. Scheduled installation and the work was done on time with no issues,

Everyone was most courteous and professional. Sales person carefully explained all the designs and specifications for the best roofing choices, provided an estimate that was right on, and was on-site to observe and follow-up and. Work began around 9:00 a.m. and finished by 7:30 p.m. Crew leader was a "hands-on" veteran craftsman, and all the men worked diligently in concert.. Everyone was tireless and cheerful throughout. Corley Roofing has my endorsement!
