Business owners Rick and Tim have been serving the Takoma Park area for over 30 years. We are proud to have a very loyal following of customers who have trusted us with their cars for many years. Our expertise extends from bumper to bumper including brakes, tune ups, oil changes, belts & hoses, cooling, clutches, transmissions and general maintenance. Description of Work: I put notes in the service email about what I wanted to have done. I was very specific about what I needed but unfortunately they did not see the notes. Put generic oil in my car. Other than that, they did a great job.

Description of Work: While doing an oil change and replacing high beams, uncovered worn out battery and rear break pads. These things really needed to get done to keep us rolling and safe on the road. They have been our mechanics for over 10 years and are a great team. Their prices are in the medium range. I've used cheaper places but ended up regretting it.

Description of Work: Engine warning light came on. VW dealer said it was due to carbon build up in the engine and insisted that the only way to fix it was to disassemble the engine to clean it out for estimate of $1,000.00. | |I sought a second opinion from RT. They suggested performing the 60,000 mile service and a few other small things that cost less than half of what the dealer wanted to charge me and that resolved the problem.

There are some benefits to having a business next to a roofing company. Fixing tires is one of them. I can't tell you how many roofing nails I have pulled out of tires, but it is a lot. Thank you for the review. Thank you for working next to a roofing company. Every 10th tire repair is free.
