"We didn't "talk" this customer into doing anything. Our roof proposal was solicited by the owner and we informed him, in writing, that the roof was in poor condition and wasn't installed correctly. We provided estimates to replace the roof as well as repair some areas in order to prolong the life of the roof. When the work was completed, the owner attempted to blame us for damaging his HVAC unit and system. His own HVAC contractor confirmed with us that the system is just old and broken and no one damaged it. Now, the roof is leaking. We didn't damage his roof nor did we perform incorrect repair work. We offered to attempt another repair (as the area that the roof is leaking is not one where we performed our repair) and we were threatened. Now there is a bad review. We cannot take responsibility for people not doing the recommended repairs / replacements that we suggest. The proposal documents provided to him and signed by him clearly state that the roof needs replacement. Now he wants us to be responsible for his not following our advice? I'd be happy to post the proposal documents but don't think that is appropriate."
"We never worked on a home at this address. We were contacted by someone other than the person writing this review to perform emergency repairs to a roof. They did not want us to come out and look at it first as they wanted a price over the phone without a free inspection. Next, they wanted the repairs done immediately. We gave the (contractor), a price over the phone to do work on a new construction project, not an old roof. We gave a price based on the amount of work they described and on the materials they told us we would need. We put this project ahead of others (which always requires a surcharge as we don't really have time to prepare) and dispatched a crew. The work was done exactly how they asked for it to be done. The storm a week or so later caused leaks not in the work we did but in an old roof that was NOT part of the work we were contracted to do! After going back to try to fix our work we informed the person who hired us (not the person writing this review or who ever spoke with us) that the leaks they were experiencing were from another part of the house (a much older roof that was not part of our work). They threatened us that the owner (I assume the person writing this review) is part of the media or would post negative reviews so we should just fix their old roof that wasn't part of our contract. We explained that we would come back but it would cost more money to fix their old roof (again not the new construction part of the roof) that we initially repaired. This person should be honest and tell people that our work didn't leak, rather her old roof that we didn't work on, leaked and they wanted us to fix it for free. Because we wouldn't, they are posting negative reviews that are not warranted. We would be happy to fix the roof we worked on, but that isn't leaking."
"This is a former employee who was terminated due to repeated mistakes and lack of follow through for our customers. This Is not a customer review. We have performed over 100 solar installations without any issues dating back to 2009 when we launched our solar work."
