+ -1 moreOverall, we are pleased with the job. Our roof looks good from the street and we have the vent at the top of the roof which should help vent the attic and save a bit on cooling costs.
Description of Work: We elected to go with Kilbie in the early spring after finding a special on Angie's List. We had been talking to several contractors and the pricing varied by several thousand dollars. Kilbie offered a bundling deal. We had to wait until all the contracts were written to in order for the company to purchase the materials. It was worth the wait in terms of cost plus we got the roof design we wanted with the quality of shingles and finishing we needed. Our roof cost a bit more as we had damaged boards and the old part of the roof (1934) had gaps between the boards. We felt the advice the contractor gave us was accurate and fair in pricing.It took two days to complete the roof but the weather was great, the workmen were as careful with the plantings around the house as could be expected and were polite and courteous. It is a good feeling to know that we have a quality roof. Also whenever I contact Mr. Kilbie about scheduling, he responded promptly. I would not hesitate hire them again.
