ADU

I had 2 bad experiences with the appliances I bought from ADU. They were recommended to me by my remodeling company. I bought a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The refrigerator came with a small dent on the bottom door. At first, they were considering whether or not to replace the door or refund me with $100. I have not heard anything more about this, as I needed and accepted the fridge. What is worse is my GE dishwasher. I had it hooked up on Jun 14, found out that it didn't work, with a strange error code on Jun 17 (the first time I tried to use it). I contacted ADU, they are not helpful at all, and asked me to contact GE directly, as I have a warranty with GE. I understand that. GE sent a technician but said I need a replacement part, which is back ordered, and will not be available until at least after Aug 21. I asked ADU for help and even asked if I can get a replacement. I received no response and no help whatsoever. It has been the most frustrating. I won't use them again.

After a significant amount of research, we felt that ADU had very competitive prices. Our salesperson was Heather, and she was quick to get answers for us from manufacturers if we had any questions. We had one glitch when the fridge and freezer arrived and they were hinged on the wrong side. At first, Heather told us that's the way they come (although we didn't order them that way) but when I pursued the matter further, ADU offered to have a repairman come out and switch them at their expense. So, there was a problem but in the end, they took care of it. The appliances were delivered right on schedule.

Excellent - Shannon was a pleasure to work with even when one appliance stopped working within a few weeks of install. She helped solve the problem and stayed on top of the situation until I was satisfied.

I would never use this distributor again. I spent in excess of $10,000. Two items, the cooktop and refrigerator came damaged. The distributor refused to exchange the damaged items and told me to deal directly with the manufacturer. This was a horrible experience. After they took my money they did not want to provide any service.
