Overall a very good experience-- I will hire again! Based on myriad excellent reviews in Sykesville community forums, I requested an appointment with Will Air. Sheri got back to me quickly and was able to schedule an appointment around my schedule. The proprietor, Rob, was my technician and he did a very thorough checkout of my indoor air handling unit and the condenser/heat pump (outdoor unit). Though I am in a relevant trade, he walked me through everything he was doing, his findings, and recommendations. During his checkout he also gave me a rundown on his experience and the kind of work his guys do. I feel confident the maintenance was thorough and properly performed. My only nitpick would be that I would have liked to see all of the measurements and specs written up on the workorder (I'm an analytical guy! I'm working on it...). I am planning an HVAC project involving ducting fresh air and volume control dampers that I plan on involving Will-Air for. Thanks for the great service.

excellent. Robert arrived exactly when appt. was scheduled. Not only did he diagnose the issue with my heat pump he fixed it. Another HVAC specialist left me know choice and told me I had to replace my heat pump for 7,000.00. Decided to get a second opinion. Will-Air was highly recommended by a contractor. I really appreciated his honesty and time he took to explain what he did. Without hesitation I would tell anyone with HVAC services needed give Will-Air a call first before anyone else...

Excellent job in every respect. Clearly explained the various options I could choose from and provided a very competitive price. Then did the whole installation three days later as promised, in a single day. They also replaced some of the inefficient original duct work instead of simply reconnecting the new system to it. This is a relatively small company so I could always talk directly with the owner, Rob, who has many many years of experience, with any questions.

Rob Will is the owner of Will Air and was very responsive. I got several quotes for this project and he was the only one that did a very through inspection of my existing setup, taking pictures, measurements and notes before he gave me an estimate. He provided many options and was easy to negotiate with and gave me a lot of information about BGE rebates (which no one else had mentioned). He also had the best attitude, for what it's worth. Regardless, I believe I got a fair price and that he offered a better system for my money compared to others. He arranged a time and date a week out to perform the install. I got a call the day before the install to remind me of the next day, and the next day his crew showed up 15 minutes early. They were very professional and I had heat by the evening and they were finished the next day. I paid and signed that I was happy with the work, and afterwards - as the guy was opening the furnace to show me the insides - he noticed a leak - and stayed an extra hour, late on a Friday, to further repair the new system. This was a lot of money to spend and I believe this type of work proves its-self over time, but all-in-all I think the install service went about as well as it could have. I would hire Will-Air again.

Job was completed in 1 day, and service was top notch!

Tom came out on the same day I called and did a detailed analysis of the problem with the fan on our gas furnace, which turned out to be a defective circuit board. Had to order the replacement board, but Tom was able to hot wire the fan so that we had heat in the house that chilly evening. The next day, Rob (the owner) called with an estimate for replacing the bad board. It sounded reasonable, but I mentioned to him that I had seen an alternate board on Amazon.com that looked like it might also work. He was unfamiliar with that particular part, but after we hung up, he took the initiative to confirm that that alternate part would in fact work, which saved me more than $100 for the board. Ron then came out a few hours later (even earlier than he had promised) to install the board and check out the whole furnace, including the add-on humidifier, to make sure everything was working correctly. Great, fast service. I would certainly hire them again.

I came home to discover that my air conditioning was not working, which sent me into an immediate panic because I have a baby who was going to be super cranky and I don't fare well sleeping without AC either. I sent out inquiries to several places and hoped for the best because I anticipated most HVAC companies would be slammed during the heat wave responding to similar calls.

Fortunately, Sherry from Will-Air was prompt and courteous in replying to my dire request. She even texted me, because she didn't want to risk waking a baby with a phone call, and told me she could have a technician out the next day. The owner came out the next day and walked me through everything that was going on and was very professional. I was so impressed with their service that I've scheduled fall and spring maintenance with them.

After being out all day and coming home to a hot house, it was refreshing to get an HVAC company to pick up the phone. Rob answered and I was able to tell him the inside unit was not running and it was frozen but the outside unit was running fine. He gave me his pricing and a ballpark figure for a new blower motor, if that turned out to be the problem. I gave him the information on the HVAC panel and he said he had a motor if that was it. He arrived Sunday morning, replaced the blower motor and a bad relay switch and two hours later the house was cooling off. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He didn't mind my two little boys asking all kinds of questions about his tools and what he was doing. I also thought the repairs were going to cost a lot more than what I paid. We have used several different companies through the years but Rob has been by far the best. We will be using him for all our future HVAC needs for sure and I would recommend him to anyone who asks.

We had a wonderful experience working with Rob Will & Will-Air. We called a few HVAC companies and chose to work with Will-Air because they were so friendly and helpful on the phone. They scheduled an appointment for that afternoon, and offered to call 45 minutes before arriving and even bring a plug in AC unit in case the repair would take two days. Rob Will was honest when diagnosing issue with air conditioning and very personable! We will definitely call him back for any future HVAC needs and recommend this company to our friends!

Called Robert first thing Sunday morning as they have business hours for 7 days a week. He picked the phone by himself and be able to come by the next hour. Fixed the problem and also check and service both units we have. Good services and reasonable price. Good job and thank you, Robert!

Awesome. I called and they came out the same day to put a short term fix on my AC unit. They then installed a new unit a few days later. Quick and reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend them!

They thoroughly explained a detailed quote to correct the problem. We were very pleased with their overall knowledge and communication and the details of their work, explanations, and written quotes.

It was great. The tech was out right on time and was better than i could have imagined. He knew what he was doing and was done with the repairs and an entire system check in just under an hour.

Rob was extremely knowledgeable and anticipated the problem based on the call, picked up the part needed prior to arrival at our home so that he was completely prepared to fix our heater.

Will-Air had provided a thorough written estimate to solve the issues outline above as part of a prior visit. The projected price for a turn-key solution was greater than our available budget. Will-Air offered an incremental plan that would address the issues in a logical and sequential manner. This first phase required the removal of problematic duct work in the attic. This difficult job was effectively completed on-time and within budget with minimum disruption to our home and family.

Will-Air spent the time to thoroughly check out both systems. We were so pleased with the thoroughness of their preventative maintenance that we asked them to give us a quote for a large duct work project. Again we were pleased with the overall knowledge, communication, and details included in their written quote and verbal explanation.

Service tech was very polite and early. Fixed AC unit and explained what he did and showed the bad part that was replaced. Reasonable price for a short notice call.

Rob Will was our only HVAC service provider while we lived in our home in Damascus.  (We moved to a rental house in Gaithersburg last year)

Rob had previously worked for Tucker's AC in Gaithersburg before going out on his own several years ago.  

When we finished our basement, Rob replaced the builder-installed flexible duct-work with sturdier sheet metal, so we wouldn't have future problems once the walls and ceiling were completed and not accessible.  Rob has also replaced our hot water heater and installed a humidifier.  

Over the years, Rob had repaired our two-zone HVAC system by repairing or replacing fan motors, refrigerant lines, and other parts.
This, along with his diligent routine maintenance, kept us from having to replace the units for the almost 18 years that we lived there.  

We highly recommend Rob Will and Will Air.  

Our home has dual HVAC units.   The electric only unit in our attic has given us issues for years.   Rob Will of Will Air inexpensively serviced the unit and babied it along so that we were able to get as much life out of it as possible.   Once it was no longer economically smart to keep repairing the unit, Rob recommended a new unit that was affordable, energy efficient and more properly sized for our square footage.   The new unit works like a charm and has not needed any service since installation.   Rob and his staff show up quickly, and stay until the job is done.   Sherry is always friendly and pleasant on the phones and is a pleasure to work with.  I will continue to use Will Air for all of my HVAC needs and will recommend them to anyone who needs a trusted HVAC repair company.
