This was part of a remodeling project in a 100 year old rowhouse in the city. Tim came and gave an estimate and offered suggestions for the tile and materials needed because the house is so old and floors are slanted. Suggested a tile store with a large selection where we were able to get Tim's professional discount on materials. Tim had advised that he did not know what to expect when he ripped up the old flooring and wanted us to know that the cost might exceed the estimate. The job was completed on time, looks beautiful, and cost exactly as estimated. Tim is clearly an honest and professional craftsman. Would hire him again without question.

Through Peak Carpentry Tile Masters did our tile work on our master bathroom. Tim was terrific, extremely professional. Both Tim and Jim do exceptional work. Our shower and floor turned out absolutely beautiful.

When Tim retires it will be a sad day in central MD.  Luckily, he's still pretty young.  This is the second tile job he's done for us and it was done flawlessly.  Absolutely no complaints.  Tell him what you want and he'll do it, or he'll tell you why you should do it differently.  Highly recommended.

was a fantastic experience with a true professional tradesman.-  everything Tim said he  would do was completed better than expected,-- started our job on time & stayed till compete .--he  was not happy with piece of trim he picked out, kept for a possible future job while he got us what he thinks best. -- his layout of pattern/joints/grout was what we had in mind--. seems to really enjoy what he is doing, radio on while he works, sings along sometimes, and is a great, down to earth craftsman.   -absolutely a #1 pick for tile work.

Tile Masters installed durock on shower walls inside and out and around bath tub wall areas as well as on the bathroom and shower floors. They also installed a 4x4 shower pan and stainless steel drain system. Accent glass mosaic tile was installed for a back splash along a vanity. It was also used for a design centerpiece on  one shower wall and was also used to tile a niche.
**Note all demo was done by the home owner. The price included tile, tile installation, and as well as prep work shower pan and durock.
Tile Masters were prompt, did quality work and  followed up with any design request! Thanks Tim!

Tim is a wonderful person to work with and he does great work.
He is very professional and meticulous about the job he is doing.  He goes the extra mile to make sure it is perfect.
I had to wait to get him to do my job because of his schedule, but it was well worth it.  I would highly recommend him and I will definitely be using him in the future.

When I first contacted Tim about doing the job, he informed me that he was booked about 2 months in advance. Well, it was absolutely worth the wait. He does excellent work. Highly recommend. A

Everything went great - Tim was punctual, professional, and courteous, and we are very happy with the work. The backsplash looks amazing and you can tell that Tim went the extra mile to make sure that every detail was attended to. We will definitely be using Tim again in the future, and highly recommend him for anyone else.

Right from the initial contact with owner/operator Tim, I had a good feeling about this job. His friendly yet professional manner was a breath of fresh air in contrast to others we have done work on our house. He was punctual with all aspects of the project including this appointment for the estimate, the pricing, and the actual work. He started and finished when he said he would. Once the work began he was here each day until he was done. The job sight was maintained in a very orderly manner as the work was being performed and was left meticulously clean each day.
I would highly recommend Tile Masters for premium work at a fair price. Finally, each of Tim's suggestions including a place to look for tile and design aspects for the bath were spot on. It was simply one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences we have had working with a home improvement contractor.

Tim was fantastic to work with from the initial phone call to the last sweep of the broom during clean up. We have a 1925 bungalow in Baltimore City that we have been working on for almost 10 years. I've had my fair share of bad contractors so I got Tim's name from Angies List. I received 3 estimates for the work, his wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive, exactly in the middle - just the way I like it. I think his fee is actually a great value considering the craftsmanship that he puts into his jobs. He had to deal with crooked walls, a wavy subfloor and some odd buckling of the floor at the transition between the laundry room and the kitchen. He worked in between Christmas and New Years and even stayed late to finish up during a snowstorm. The project took a little bit longer than expected but I think that is just the reality of trying to doing a good job in an old home. I am so happy with the work that he did and we get near daily comments from friends and family who see the new floor.
This is a project that would show install errors in a pretty drastic way and it looks perfect. While he can't be expected to fix all of our old house imperfections, he did a great job and minimizing the look and feel of the wavy floors and he fixed the issue with the transition into the laundry room, where you don't even notice it any more.
I have already shared his name and number with friends and hope he doesn't get too busy in the future, because I'm looking forward to having him come back soon to do more work. Tim has renewed my faith in contractors = quality work, reasonable price, and super nice guy to have in my house. Thanks Tim!!

The work and time he put into the job was top notch starting from day one. I chose all new marble tiles to go into a bathroom that was close to 100 years old. It was time consuming and tough work but Tim did an outstanding job. I ordered a poorly made bathtub which really affected the time frame of the work but Tim stayed late to get the job done on numerous days which was something he didnt have to do. Everyone always comments how beautiful the bathroom looks. I will use him again and would recommend him to anyone. He had his own sub contractor to do the plumbing work and he also did an outstanding job. If you are in need of any tile work look nowhere else. Thanks again!!

Great experience from start to finish. We got Tilemasters info from Angie's List. Sent an email inquiry and got a response within a couple of hours. We scheduled a time for Tim to come and give an estimate. He showed up exactly on time and furnished a quote within a short time after his visit. We agreed on the price and he told us where he thought we should go to pick out the tile. He scheduled the job at a time convenient for us. Tim picked up the tile from the vendor.
Tim came at the appointed time. The work was done in a timely manner. His work was extremely professional. He was very easy to work with. At the completion of the job he presented his invoice, including the tile he had bought on our behalf.
We would definitely call him for any future similar work. We also would highly recommend that others take advantage of his great service.

Tim and Steve were great. They were patient when there were issues with our tile, and overall were great to work with. The tile is laid flawlessly and we have gotten many compliments from family and friends. The house is 35 years old, and the floors aren't completely even or level, but you can no longer really tell due to the great work that they did. I highly recommend them.

We contacted Tile Masters because they were a local company with great reviews on Angie's List. We feel we made an excellent choice and it was evident from the start. Tim called us back right away and set up a time to come by to see our bathroom and discuss the project. From the beginning, Tim was very easy to work with. He is very friendly and personable. He gave us good suggestions and was very patient when we had a bit of indecision about placement of trim tile. Tim is creative and exacting in his work. The job site was left clean and straight at the end of each work day. Tim did a beautiful job and we are extremely pleased! He is a true professional . Tim and Jeff were amazing, as were the other people they had come in to help at times. They are very detail oriented, which reflects in the final result of our beautifully renovated bathroom. They demolished our old 1950's bathroom, put in new sub floor, leveled the floor, added a fan through the attic, some plumbing work, added an outlet, built a new shower, tiled the floor and shower, painted, installed vanity. When the work was completed, we had a frameless glass door for the shower installed by a company recommended by Tim. Tim was working with a couple other men for the first part of the renovation (demolition, built shower, sub floor, plumbing, leveling, electric), and Jeff completed the renovation (all tiling, installed vanity, painted, installed fan). We plan to renovate another bathroom and kitchen, and we will absolutely use Tile Masters again.
