Description of Work: Siding for the entire house. The staff was friendly and worked very hard to complete the project in three days. We have a sun setter awning which was very difficult to reinstall but they kept at it and everything looks wonderful. We highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Removed old shingles and a large solar box, replaced with new roof, installed vinyl coated aluminum soffit vents around entire house and under carport. |S&K's price was very competitive and the work was done right the first time. The soffit work was done exceptionally well.

Description of Work: Replaced my roof on the house, breezeway, and garage. | |They did an excellent job - no damage to the planting areas around the perimeter of the house, cleaned up and hauled away all of the old material that was removed including nails that fell around the house.

Description of Work: Replaced existing roof, installed ridge vent. Account manager was very responsive throughout entire process (thanks Shane!). S&K was the only roofer out of the six that I called to actually provide a quote for the work. Roof installation was done within the day, to include cleanup. The crew tore up a bit of the lawn along the driveway, but came back the next day to patch it with sod. All in all we are very pleased with the outcome.

Description of Work: They replaced my siding and rear soffit. They were able to complete the job in one day. My only complaint was that they attempted to charge me a couple hundred extra dollars for lumber that I did not use.

Description of Work: Of all the Angie's list providers i contacted for estimates for replacing my roof shingles, using the same brand of materials(certain-teed landmark ), S&K were 25% higher in price. When I called the representative, he said he measured the roof and if I could find a better price he encouraged me to so. Not sure why thier price was higher but they were very professional about the whole thing and I would not scratch them off my list for future work just becuase they were not competative in this situation

Description of Work: This is the second time we've used S&K and were happy both times.. This time was a smaller job I didn't even think they'd want - We needed minor repair to the roof of a shed that had a large limb fall on it. Over the phone they estimated $450 which I agreed to, but after coming out to see it, they lowered the price to $390, which I thought was great, considering I was happy with the other price.. Since it was outside on a shed, we didn't need to be home, and actually I never saw them once, but the work is done well.. they did a better than expected job at matching the color on 8 year old shingles, which I never expected to be even close. I'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Had water leaks around a chimney. They cleaned the raked joints and sealed the areas with a spray waterproofiing product. When the leaks recurred they came back and found a problem behind the silicone flashing beads. They removed the beads, dried that area, resiliconed the flashing and all appears well. Their technician, Ignatio is the best, very professional and intent on solving the problem. This problem had troubled us for a long time and others who tried were unable to fix it. As far as I can tell it is now fixed.

Description of Work: S&K replaced a large and leaking asphalt shingle hip roof (12/12 pitch), replaced trim and fascia, replaced gutters on my residence, installed gutters on a 20x28 outbuilding, and installed vinyl windows as part of a kitchen renovation. (All other components of the kitchen renovation were performed by others.) | |The quality of the work performed by S&K was excellent, all materials used were top quality Centainteed products, they showed up when expected, and the work was completed in a very timely fashion. | |It is notable that S&K did not try to upsell me on anything. But what sealed the deal for me was that S&K was the only company I contacted that actually walked the roof, and they performed a temporary repair of a major leak at no charge ... all before I had made any commitment to hire them. (Thanks Don.) | |I will almost certainly use them again when I replace the siding, shutters, entry doors, and more windows on my home in the next 6-12 months.

The quality of the workmanship and the materials was excellent, the company fulfilled the terms of the contract, and the people at S&K have been good to deal with. I certainly recommend them to others.
