They were fantastic. I highly recommend them. We were able to find the right look with wood railings and metal balusters. We did have some of the balusters that came loose, but they came right back and reglued them. They were a pleasure to work with and I would use them again in the future.

The estimate process went very smoothly, Bill did a great job answering all our questions and working with us to find a railing style that we liked. He provided samples for both the railing style and the stain color. The installers worked quickly and efficiently to install the railing, and did a great job. Everyone was very friendly. We are very happy with the finished product, and would absolutely recommend Railtec to others!

They were great. He has great ideas and he is excellent. He brought out samples. He has a guy that came with him to install the railing and he was good. He brought  book with various railings and he made recommendations.

The railing looks nice, is very sturdy, and the work was completed in a timely manner. There are several minor details that we wish had been addressed during the installation and after completion. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with.

The provider came to give an estimate. He was running a little late, but called to tell me. When he came he was friendly and professional.
The day of the installation, the provider came on time and did quick professional work, My new railings change the whole look of the house. I am having him come back and do more work,

We were very pleased with the the work Bill and his son Tom did for us.  Bill responded to our original call in a very timely manner.  He came out and did all the measurements and gave us some wonderful suggestions for our project.  He stained and finished the rails and then came out with his son and installed the entire project in  half a day.  They protected our rugs and stairs with tarps and cleaned up after the job was done.  We could not be happier with their work

Went from 80s boring to ultra contemporary.  They were also able to match the stain on the rails and newels perfectly to our ebony hardwood floors.  Huge amount of work completed in only 3 days.  Great attentional to detail.  Would use again and recommend in a heartbeat.

Bill is very knowledgeable about all details concerning stair rails.  He pointed me to websites so that I could choose the style for my home.  He also provided many color samples to match the hand rail with the wood floor.  Two days were required to complete the work.  The technicians were experienced, fast, and nice.  The whole process was smooth and efficient.

Railtec arrived on time for the estimate appointment and on the day the work was to be performed.  The installation was exactly what we wanted.  The new railing looks great.  Excellent service and the price was competitive.

I went to the Railtec Custom Railings comprehensive website and selected the railing style and materials in advance.  I also made an appointment with Mr. Bill Kirchoff, owner of the company.  Mr. Kirchoff came to my home, took the time to speak with me about the available options and materials that I selected, confirmed the color of stain that I requested, and took detailed measurements.  Although this was a very small job in comparison to the larger homes he works on, Mr. Kirchoff was very polite and expressed appreciation for the business. 
My wife was at home during the construction and installation of the railing system.  She advised that the carpenter was very pleasant, conscientious, neat, and efficient.  The install was completed quickly (about 4 hours), without issue, and the carpenter did a very thorough clean up.  The new oak railing system (rails, newels, and balusters) looks great with the new wood flooring that we had installed earlier.  The railing system is also VERY solid and stable. 
We are extremely pleased with the final product and would recommend Railtec (and Bill Kirchoff) for any job.

Very smooth process from initial visit to give estimate, to final work.  Just couldn't have gone better.

Overall the whole process was great.  Bill came and did the estimate, and after we paid half of the price of the project down the next day we were scheduled for two weeks later.  Bill came back with his crew and did a great job installing; a few days later his finisher came and sanded, and applied a second coat of clear finish to the woodwork.  After the job was complete they emailed us to confirm everything was to our satisfaction.
