This business responded promptly Appt was a Saturday 5/18/19 he was on time and very informative signed contract same day, Received call on 5/20/19 to schedule an appointment to have final measurements on windows scheduled for Tuesday 5/21/19, He showed up on time and very proficient, Window team showed up at 8:30 AM on Saturday 6/15/19 work was completed in about 2 hrs to replace 6 windows, Workers were very polite they cleaned up when done Very satisfied

I truly enjoyed working with Potomac View Energy. Chris was super easy to work with, gave me a no frills price and was always super responsive. The crew that came out to install all of my new windows and also created a new patio door for me: Manuel, Antonia, Sammy and Ricardo are amazing. They work so hard and so well together that it was truly a pleasure to experience them and their hard work. I have never felt so relieved and so happy about any projects being done around my house. I am very picky and they did amazing, even covering all of the floors and windows while working and doing a great job cleaning up afterwards. Excellent work and great quality windows. I can't stop taking pictures of my new patio door. They did an incredible job. I highly recommend them!!

Everything went very well. Workers actually showed up earlier than scheduled & had to wait for me to get out of bed. But they were very efficient and the work was all done quickly. After completion the owner Chris came by & performed an energy audit and answered all my remaining questions about the use, operation & maintenance of the new windows which look great! He also electronically submitted the energy rebate to Potomac Editon for the attic insulation on my behalf. Would hire them again any time.

Got new energy saving light bulbs & new shower head to conserve energy. Not too helpful...... Expected some methods to eliminate drafts and advice as to wether or not new windows would be less drafty

The entire company from the owner down to the crew who did the installation were top notch. The crew discovered a lot of rotten wood in the frame work, which they replaced without issue. The enlarged window turned out great, the sliders work great, and all of the windows and exterior framing/wrapping/sealing were done perfectly. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and had a great experience during the whole process. I would recommend Potomac View Energy to anyone looking to have windows or doors replaced.

Starting with the energy audit, Chris and his team were terrific. Our attic now is the most comfortable room in the house during the winter time. Upon moving to replacing our windows and doors, Chris was great with providing pamphlets and showing how the window hardware would work. Couldn't have been happier, only surprise was when the front door took an extra few months to complete because of a delay from the manufacturer. Not much I could do but wait, however as soon as it was in his team was out to get things installed.

Our house is old, and the windows that were installed were original builder windows. The seals on the double pane were so old the windows were all clouded. We began looking for a company to replace the windows for us. Naturally, we called Thompson Creek and Andersen . When we had a quote from one of those companies, our jaws dropped. After their coupons and discounts, our quote was $18,000. There was absolutely no way we were going to be able to afford windows through those companies. We had high hopes when we found Potomac View Energy. The reviews stated that customers got fantastic quotes and that were head and shoulders lower than the other companies. Chris Lawrence, the owner of Potomac View Energy, came out to give us a quote in Mid-May, and we were shocked by how great of a deal he was able to provide. Fantastic windows at less than half the price of the other competitors! We signed on the dotted line almost right away, no questions! Chris was very thorough, detailing everything we needed to know about the windows, and how the installation would go. In the weeks after we put our deposit down, Chris was very patient with us, answering any and all questions we had. The gentleman who came to measure the windows for us was very courteous and called a head to make sure we were available to meet. Mid-way through the summer, we decided to get a new front door installed. This was all done in an attempt to make our home more energy efficient. Our front door was originally a door, with a 36" wide single pane window. We were losing so much energy and heat through the window. Plus there was a definite privacy issue with a huge piece of glass at the bottom of our stairs. We talked with Chris, and he figured out what we would need to do and the best fit. Chris directed us to a website he uses to design and purchase doors through. He provided us with some great information, and helped us decide what would be the best fit. The day of installation, a team of workers came out. They were very respectful and gave us plenty of notice prior to, and time once they got here to get our affairs in order (we have several animals and needed to make sure they wouldn't escape!) Within the day, they had about 14 windows installed, a door frame (insulation and dry wall), and a new door with sidelight installed. They came back a couple days later to install the siding. There was some confusion with what we had asked to get done, and the installers (and Chris) were very quick to get the issues resolved, almost immediately. In the weeks after the installation, Chris was always available to answer any questions we had. It was a breath of fresh air to be able to deal directly with the CEO versus dealing with endless customer service. We would highly recommend Potomac View Energy to anyone in need of windows or doors. I have even passed along their praises to coworkers who are in need of new doors.

It went surprisingly well.  In the home improvement business, it is very rare to find honest and quality service.  This was not the case with Potomac View Energy.  Chris Lawrence was a fresh of breathe air.  His knowledge and expertise took us by surprise.  I can say without any hesitation, he is a blessing to homeowners.  From start to finish he educated my wife and I, as well as gave us options on how to better save money.  With a family of three little children, we wanted our dollar to stretch as far as we could. 

We live in a generation where value is very important.  We were not looking for anyone cheap or expensive.  We were looking for quality and honesty. And he gave us both.  VALUE!!!

I called  Potomac View Energy (Chris Lawrence -owner) at the recommendation of our friends who had used Potomac View Energy for their replacement windows.
Potomac View Energy was the 3rd company I got a quote from regarding replacing many windows in my home.
The other two quotes were from Andersen and Thompson Creek. Both of those estimates were within $1,000 of each other.
Not only was Chris'  estimate lower (by several thousand) but I was pleased to see the quality and warranty of their  replacement windows was exactly the same as the other companies I had spoken with.
Thus, we ordered the replacement windows and within about 6 -7 weeks, they were installed.
The installation crew did a fantastic job.
As I anticipated, they had a hard time getting the windows out from within the tight window opening and some drywall was damaged in the process. However, the crew beautifully repaired the dry wall and all I had to do was touch-up the paint after the caulk was dry. I am delighted with our new windows and will definitely have Potomac View Energy replace the remaining windows in our house.
 

He was good.  The owner of the company came out to do the estimate and review the windows.  He went over the details of the windows and the quality, and things like that.  He was very knowledgeable and so I really appreciated that.  He did follow up just to see if I had additional questions and things like that.  So he was very responsive.  He worked with me on the price.

Chris was easy going the entire time.  Not a high pressure sales person.  He told us what to expect up front and lived up to what he said.  Chris said the windows would take about three weeks to be made and come in and they did.  The crew who installed them did a very good and clean job.  The quality of the caulking work was exceptional.  It was a small job which they completed quickly and cleanly.  We would call Chris again should we need windows in the future.

We got 3 price quotes. The most expensive was from Potomac View Energy but we chose them to do our job. Why? Chris is a window salesman and he is very good at selling windows. He had a kit with him and explained why their windows were the better choice. They are made locally, are more energy efficient, and the product is guaranteed for life. We made this decision in early July, and on Aug 30 our windows were put in. The install crew showed up on time (between 8-10). They did not leave any trash around. We had the amount of dust you would expect from a construction job. The windows are exactly what we wanted, and they are so clear sometimes I have to check and make sure there is glass (Hahaha)! Constructive critism: Some of our furniture was dragged across our hw floors. Fortunately the marks buffed out. We plan to use Potomac View Energy for future jobs.

The quality of both the materials provided (front door unit, sliding glass door unit, windows, siding and gutters) and the quality of workmanship for the installation were truly outstanding!  Crews were highly skilled, arrived as scheduled, worked very efficiently and did a fantastic job.  The prices charged were very fair and small additional items that needed to be done were included without any additional charge.  We are extremely pleased with every aspect of the work done!

Potomac View Energy did a wonderful job.  My windows are more than I expected!  They look so nice and are easy to clean.  His installation crew was very professional.  They took the time to lay mats down so there was no mess and they cleaned up after themselves.  I plan to use them in the future when I need to get my front door replaced and my gutters redone. Overall this company was wonderful from start to finish!  I would definitely use them in the future!

Chris from Potomac View Energy exceeded all of my expectations for a window replacement contractor.  Chris was thorough with his estimate, and took time to educate me throughout the estimate process.  The estimate was right on, and there were no surprises when it was time to pay.  Chris always showed up on time, did excellent work, and left his work area clean.  He was especially attentive to details such as the caulking of the windows, and thoroughly cleaned the windows before leaving.  I am very impressed with Potomoac View Energy.

After several quotes from other providers Potomac View Energy was able to provide the highest quality at the best price. The installation was a very smooth process, the installers were neat and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

It went absolutely flawless and our windows look amazing. We were totally satisfied from start to finish.  Chris and his crew work very efficient and were able to replace all 10 original alumunium windows in one working day.  There was no huge mess and everything was left the way it was before they got here.  Chris was actually here for thie entire installation (good luck finding that from a contractor) and didn't leave until the job was finished and we were completely satisfied. He also said if there were any issues to give him a call personally, a sign of someone who stands behind their work.
Several of my neighbors have asked about the company we used as many of them are in need of windows themselves.  I haven't hesitated in recommending Potomic View Energy and really feel like we got a great deal, especially after seeing the quality and service some of them have recieved with other companies. As windows are one of the most costly decisions as a homeowner you may have to make (at least it has been for me so far), I really hope you would consider Potomic View Energy.
