Dr. Hickey and his whole office and staff are amazing.  They have been able to fit me in, several times, for same day appointments.  They've had to work with me on some complicated billing and insurance issues during the name change of my child during an adoption.  Their staff is always super friendly and very helpful, even when they are very busy.  The longest I have ever waited was twenty minutes, and they had an unexpected medical emergency brought in just before my appointment.  I usually never wait more than 5-10 minutes, even after being brought back to the room.  All of the doctors and RNs in the practice are friendly and knowledgeable but Dr. Hickey is above and beyond.  He always takes the time to explain what is going on and to really listen to me as a mom.  He is very encouraging and also takes the time to establish rapport with my child, making him feel comfortable and at ease.  We are so thankful to have found Dr.  Hickey and highly recommend this practice to anyone looking.

Our nurse practitioner, Miss Amy, is always terrific. She has helpful advice and practical suggestions, and she is very encouraging! She also seems to genuinely care.

The rest of the office staff is also professional and helpful.

We saw Lori and she was AMAZING! The kids loved her and can't wait to go back to the Dr. again.  She came in the room blowing bubbles to keep the kiddos distracted.  She pulled lollipops out of their ears when she checked them and gave them stickers at the end.  love, love, love.

We have used Dr. Hickey for both of our children for the last 6-7 years.  He is very personable, with an outstanding bedside manner for children.   This last visit was a very routine wellness exam, but he is always very good at addressing parents' concerns while communicating directly with the child and making them feel at ease.

Our daughter has gone for all the routine check-ups (and not so routine check-ups like weight checks) and they've been extremely thorough.  We usually see Dr. Hickey and adore him!  We've also had to contact them on the weekend a couple times with urgent questions and they've always responded quickly.

After years of trying to find a pediatrician that listens and actually seems to really care about the kids, I have found it in Dr. Hickey's office!! Just awesome! The waiting room is perfect for the kids and as a Christian, it fills me with joy so see Bible passages displayed on the wall. The drs and nurses have wonderful bedside manner. For example, the dr comes in the room and starts to blow bubbles for the kids, they love it! They spend plenty of time with you as well. I had some concerns about my newborn being tongue-tied and the dr spent a lot of time talking with me, examined her and even had me nurse her (privately). They did not rush me at all. Very refreshing and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician. I am really happy with Liberty Pediatrics.

Dr. Hickey has an excellent bedside manner with children. He made our daughter feel very comfortable by making her laugh. He also made sure any questions we had were answered completely.
