There was a terrible leak at my mother's house, in the toilet. It leaked a tiny bit into the wall, so it didn't show itself. It probably went on for weeks before we discovered it. It was leaking a tiny bit into the wall and into the closet in the wreck room. It didn?t come out and was not seen One day I opened the closet and I noticed an area of about three and half feet which was covered with mold. We had to get the mold cleaned up and also get the dry wall torn and replaced. It could be those jobs that wouldn?t be a big deal but could be really messy. They did three things for us. They did the mold remediation. When they built the closet back out, that was a room that had carpets and furniture in it. They cleaned up after themselves. They put plastic down and all kinds of stuff. You know when you do dry wall, in a place that?s already finished, you usually have a mess. These guys took care of everything. It was all cleaned up. Unfortunately I don't remember what they charged. They took care of the closet and we were happy. In another case they widened the doorway to make a room more accessible to people with wheel chairs and walkers. In the third case, they did the insulation for my mom's attic and also mine. I'm having them work on a project now. They are tearing the drywall and insulating it. It's a work that a lot of people don't do. I was happy with them. Their quotes are fair. They are not the cheapest people in town. But their quotes are fair. And in the case of insulation, they had ideas about how to do it better. It was a way that was actually better than what I had come up with. The got the doorway widened. It is a forty year old house and there are places they make 28 inches wide doorway. You can get the walker through but it's hard. My mother doesn't use a walker but we have friends who do. I didn't want to be in a position where people were first setting their walker down and then go through the door. That's one of the things that makes easier for people to visit. They are nice and very punctual. They tell you what things are going to cost. Both my house and my mother's house are older. I like the fact that when you are not sure about something, they would tell you that they found X and what it would cost and they found Y, and what that would cost. It's not nebulous. Some people say that if there is X, they can't tell what it would be and that you have to pay more; and they don't tell you what more means. These guys tell you. The other thing that?s been good for me is; because they are an environmental, safety, property and construction company, they don?t do the other work. I have been able to tell them; like this carpet business got resolved when I called them. They told me what to do about putting mash. When I got rid of the mash, I called them. They suggested someone who would do the carpet next week. I would use them in the future; until there is someone who really impresses me before I would take them over Ctgroup Environmental LLC. They referred me to somebody else to do a part of the work. This is so typical of them, they said they could to the work but the other person could do one part of it for lesser money. They knew them in terms of the business relationship. What they said was like their philosophy about other stuffs; that if something they did occasionally, it would be better for me to have somebody who did the work all the time. I really like them.
