I was looking for a local company to replace my HVAC Systems, and after soliciting five bids, We decided to hire Comfort Air. Work went as expected and explained by Mike (Salesman/Certified HVAC). The installation crew was very thorough, paid attention to detail, and made sure I was satisfied with all aspects of the new unit(s) installation. Very good teamwork from sales to install.

My house badly needed an A/C upgrade and I reached out to Comfort Air, whom I had used in the past. They gave me a competitive price and were able to complete the upgrade within a week. They were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. Since then, I have seen my BGE bill drop and the house feels much better. I highly recommend them.

The installation was fine, the service after was not fine. It was more expensive than it should have been. The quality was good, we have not had any trouble so far. They're very professional. The work was fine, it's just that they were not efficient in terms of coming when we had a question, and we needed some help. The system went out and we had to call them back the next day. When another service was willing to come in the middle of the night. The workers were nice.

I have been using Comfort Air for my HVAC needs since I moved to the area 4 years ago. They have been helping me keep my 25 year old system running as we discuss options for upgrading. I love that we almost always see the same technician; Phil, who is punctual, professional, friendly & knows the ups & downs of our system. Great. The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and professional, diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Completed the job and had the AC cooling our house before he left.

Able to diagnose and fix quickly, got us in the next day. $29 diagnostic (would have been $75 without Angie's List coupon) and $150 to replace the capacitor. This seems about in line with other companies, but the part is not that expensive and it only takes like 15 minutes to replace. Not sure why it costs so much. I asked about a fan noise on our other AC system but they said it would be a separate diagnostic charge to take a look.
