ceramic tile, remodeling
+ 0 morePoorly...first two weeks we were in love with his company, but the third we were getting frustrated...fourth, fifth and sixth were all uphill and not enjoyable or easy.
Description of Work: Brian's intentions are what is good about him. His skill set is poor. I am not sure where to start in regards to how we ended up with his construction company. We interviewed five companies and decided to work with Brian as he was the most personable and seemed eager to please. Our house was built in 1859 so we had him add closets, lay tile, replace the mudroom and side entrance doors, remove plaster to expose brick, reconfigure the laundry room, demo, open closed/hidden doorways and repair molding. Please DO NOT let him talk you into hourly....he will take his time and drain your budget. He is young, not a good listener, and his workmanship is poor...such as tile that is uneven in regards to his cuts, molding that does not match, doors that do not hang right nor are they able to close due to the lack of kick plates on each of the door frames... I could go on and on...bottom line buyer beware!

+ -1 moreTheir pricing is excellent, and their crew is wonderful. They are great. They are very competitive, and they are very upfront with their pricing and their hours. They are very timely, and their level of craftsmanship is impeccable.
Description of Work: Brian Vance Construction is remodeling my home. They are remodeling our bathroom, they are exposing some walls that we asked to be exposed, and they are repairing some fixtures and other things in our house. They are replacing baseboards, and they are generally doing some home improvement for us. We have a very old house, built in 1860, and there were no closets, so we had them build closets. They have exposed some bricks for us, they have added walkways, and they have generally done a lot of work.
