Jeff came out and gave us a price for a new garage door. When he was about to leave, we noticed that he also does window tinting and awnings. He gave us a price for both and we ordered everything. He had to order both items so we waited for him to call when they arrived. He called us to schedule a time to come out and put the tinting on. The techs came out and put the tint on the windows but one of the guys got a little to close to the wood stove and got burned. They put a slice in the film and had to reorder more since the windows are so large. We waited quite a while for someone to get back to us about the replacement. We finally had to call them after not hearing from them for about a month. We scheduled the appointment and they came out to replace it. They did ask that we not have the wood stove burning because they were afraid of someone getting burned again. They put the film on and a couple of days later we noticed bubbles. We called them and they said that they would send someone out. They didn't show and the bubbles went away on their own. We now have to call them to put film on one of the sliders that we had to have replaced. All in all, a good working relationship with just a few flaws that aren't that big of a deal except when you are waiting for product. We will use them again because they are a good company and are very professional.

Jeff came out and looked at the garage door, which needed replacement. Gave us the price, we ordered it and he had it installed within a reasonable time frame. Came back and made adjustments when we called. All the time, Jeff and technicians were professional and gave us instructions on how to maintain the door. Great people to work with.

Shore Doors is very good. They were price right and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Everything that they did works.

Garage door got stuck and then went off track during holiday weekend. A friend helped me get the door down to secure the garage and I contacted Shore Door (after consulting Angies List) on Tuesday. Appointment made for next morning at 8:30. Steffan arrived promptly at 8:30, reviewed the situation and estimated the work at 84.00. He worked efficiently and had the door up and running better than ever in about 30 minutes. The technician was very polite and explained everything that needed to be done. He instructed me on what I could do to maintain the door on a twice yearly basis to avoid similar problems in the future.

I purchased this maintenance visit through Angie's list. The company was communicative and flexible when I developed a scheduling conflict. The technician arrived on time and called before he arrived. Overall, I would recommend this company.

Ever since our garage door was installed, we had had problems with it not closing. The company who installed it came out a couple of times; once they adjusted the sensors, another time they just wiped their hand over the lens and said the problem was cobwebs. We had become accustomed to having to force-close the door. My wife wanted to get a new door, since none of her friends had problems like we had. It seemed that the problem was worse in warm weather than in cold weather, so when I grabbed the "Angie's List Big Deal" for the tune-up in Octobler I hoped to wait until Spring to use it, but the problem wouldn't wait. The tech came promptly when scheduled, examined the door very professionally, commented that I had kept it well lubed (which I had, in hopes of solving the problem) and didn't see any major problems. He did, however, find a pinched wire in the garage ceiling which he freed and said that he thought that might take care of it. Had I been a bettin' man, I would have bet good money that a pinched wire couldn't cause the problem. I would have lost. We haven't had a problem since. You can be sure that I will go to Shore Door the next time I need any garage door work.

Wonderful experience with Jeff and his team. I have been dealing with a lot of contractors over the past year with basement renovations and storm damage and Shore Doors is by far the best. Great communication, timely service, and most of all very friendly!

When Seamus gave me the estimate he said they would put it in next week. It took two weeks longer - they had to order the door. I called them asking when the door would be installed (twice), they only called after they had the door. Sean was on time and put in the door and all new supports. The old door opener wasn't working properly. There was one in his truck and he had time to install it. The new door looks great and works like a charm.

The installer arrived on time and completed his task in excellent time!

They spent a lot of time with us. They were very good at helping us find what we wanted. We have never had a problem with them and I would highly recommend them.
