Total no-show. No explanation given, no call returned. They are anything but "pros".

The contractor that had to do that was good. They didn't finish because he didn't pay them. They left a lot of stuff undone. They talked to me and told me they don't want to work for him anymore because he was saying that he hadn't gotten paid. I said I know they had to come back the next day and asked if they could seal the windows. He said that was not in the deal so I had to get some friends to come over so we could stuff in there so that the birds and other things wouldn't come through. I think the problem was when this guy started the work and then he was unavailable, he wouldn't return the call. He did have a young man that was working for him and I don't think he works for him anymore because he was trying to remedy whatever the problem was. To me he wasn't serious about the work. He didn't want me to tell him that I didn't like something or talk about the sustainability of the project. He would get so upset and he started talking about other people's perception of his work. He has to please the customer. He had some good ideas but I was looking for follow through also. When a customer makes that kind of repair in her home, I was hoping that it will withstand inspection if I want to sell or if I just want to refinance. The last time I refinanced, the guy came inside and out. They took pictures. One of the things he talked about was I do need to put up some sidings. I know that if I want to do anything, that's going to be an issue. I don't want to pay anybody to come back out here to do another job on the siding.
