Tom was the only person out of 3 companies that responded. We hired him to finish and level off our inground pool area. They were punctual and worked great as a two man team. A 1/2 a day to complete. They leveled, put fill in, top soul, fertilized and grass seed then a straw cover. We are so happy to have a yard with grass. Our pool concrete was shifting and needed to he filled in. Our kids are grown and it was an eyesore . We are grateful for their work.

Finished on time as promised. Contractor was able to match provided by other small contractor. I've decided to go with him because he was more professional and was bonded and insured. Some electrical work was needed to remove pool pump connection and Caroll bros took care of that too. Smaller contractor mentioned that we have to find our own electrician.

Terrible. I was told the regrade and new topping would last 2 - 3 years. I had a hard time getting it firmly scheduled when I was ther. He showed up and did it when I was not there. I called immediately and notified it didn’t look right. There was not a 2” topping and not crowned for drainages as promised. I told him within 2 weeks I could see the original surface and the topping was not sufficient. He said he would come back and review with me and never did. I am 6 months into it and have 16 new pot holes, constantly need to patch it, he simply did not do it right, will nor make it right and I have to get it rod one already.

Great! They really know their stuff, and were extremely professional. Other than weather delays, went extremely smoothly. Sod looks great. A pleasure to do business with.

Fantastic. Couldn'the be more pleased. The are very, knowlegable, conventientious, trustworthy, lrofessional, polite, skilled and do cut corners even when, perhaps it would not have been obvious after they completed the job. I would definitely recommend them.

Tom Carroll is extremely professional and easy to deal with. He thoroughly explained the process of the pool demolition and gave a great quote. They were interrupted by the blizzard and picked right back up all the while giving great communication and updates on the project. They used equipment that protected our driveway and they had the challenge of dealing with tight corners and one access point. They were also very respectful of our neighbors' adjacent properties. They took a project that we initially thought was daunting and made it very easy. I recommend them highly.

Very competent and professional. Tom Carroll provided on-site review of our situation and provided comprehensive description of  how they would handle the project, including what they would have to do to access the pool area (surprisingly little impact considering the equipment they use), how they would break up the pool and patio, how they would dispose of the material, how they would fill the pool and grade the yard and how they would seed the new yard and restore areas and fences affected by their equipment. Everything was done as they explained, on a timely basis, and with minimum disruption.
I'd had informal discussions with landscape and pool people about the potential costs, and Carroll Brothers' charges were much lower than I had been lead to expect for the job. I didn't contact anyone for a competing bid, but I seriously doubt I'd have found a better value.
If I had another pool to fill, these are the guys I'd call.

Tom was the only contractor when we needed our aging inground pool to be removed, so I don't know what his price is like as compared to other companies. I do know that we got our money's worth and then some in this job. He walked us through the entire process when he came out for the estimate. We knew exactly what we had to do about moving any plants we wanted saved, how they would move the fence so that machinery could access the yard, etc. He did the work for the grading permit and began the job promptly as soon as the permit was in. Tom had promised start-to-finish in four days; they were done in three working days and one day off for bad weather. Watch the time-lapse video on their website that shows a pool demo job - it was just like that! Our new back yard is seeded and covered in straw, and Tom consulted with the landscaper who will install our patio and prepped that surface differently for him. The front yard is also repaired and seeded from the truck/dirt access. All the debris, stray dirt on the street out front, etc is gone without a trace.
Carroll Brothers were quick, professional, clean and thorough. Everything they promised was done exactly as we had discussed. I would highly recommend this company. Believe me, if you have a pool that is causing constant maintenance and repair headaches, and you've ever thought and quot;It would be easier to fill it inand quot;... call these guys and make it happen.

There wasn't anything I disliked about Carroll Brothers Contracting. They did the job as they said they'd do it and they did it right. As the result of their smart work plan I have a large flatter play area for my kids and no need for a retaining wall.

It was the first time we had used them. They did a great job. They did everything they said they would.
