When I called him, there was a chance that I needed a whole gutter replaced and he was able to effect repaired the gutter work as it set, and fixing the problem.

Fixing the pipe was just a part of the problem he fixed. The best thing was that he sought out what the problem was. Following the recent rains, our basement(which is finished) got wet and I was worried that it might flood and I had no idea what was the cause because the sump pump was working fine. So I called few reputable companies(wont name them) and had them come out to inspect and diagnose the problem. All of them told me the same thing that they would have to dig the basement and install draining pipes and install another sump pump to drain that portion of the basement. Just for a clear picture, our basement has two rooms: the living room which got wet and the billiard room which was dry. No one could explain clearly why one portion was dry and the other was wet. The companies did their measurements and gave estimates ranging from $6000-$8000. It was like a blow from nowhere. Then one of our friend referred us to Mark Dedeo. I called his office and had an appointment scheduled. They were very accommodating by having me scheduled for the next day despite their busy schedule. Mark Dedeo came the next day and got to work right away. He was very courteous, pleasant and professional. After inspecting our basement and then the outside of the house, he told me what was happening. One of the water gutter pipes did not have a downspout extension and the water draining from it was pouring into the soil just above the area where the basement was located. Instead of the water draining out, it was going down seeping through the soil and into basement. He told me that it was an easy fix costing about $50. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. Instead of offering a solution right away, he first inspected the whole scenario and then diagnosed the problem. All I can say is that Mark Dedeo is smart, honest and very good at what he does. I will definitely recommend him to anyone and wont even hesitate a bit to hire him again for any work.

We've never had a roofing company respond as timely as Mark Dedeo responded to our call requesting an estimate. He was professional, courteous, honest and his rates were extremely fair. The work was done exactly as promised and we were really pleased about how neat the workmen were. They were careful to cover what needed to be covered, moved what needed to be moved cleaned up thoroughly each day. It took 2 days to complete and we had nothing to clean up after they completed the work. Additionally, our roof was done several weeks before Hurricane Sandy and we were surprised to see Mark show up the day after the hurricane to inspect the roof to be certain that everything was still intact. Not to mention, we had some water leakage through a front bay window and Mark appeared one day to seal the window for us. We have never seen such excellent customer service as we experienced from Mark! i've never seen such excellent customer service as we experienced from Mark. We would highly recommend him and have passed his name to many people already. HIRE HIM!!!

It was outstanding. I had three other quotes that were all between $14-15,000. He is the cleanest contractor I have ever worked with. He did everything he said he was going to do and he did it on time. My overall experience was excellent. I hope I don't have to for twenty, but I would absolutely use him again.

Went very well. Quote was done in a timely manner. Mark said the work would been done as soon as the weather cooperated. He and his crew were here soon after the snow was gone and the roof was dry. It was still cold but they stayed with the job and completed it within the estimated time frame. They then cleaned up and we have had no problems since.

I had 4 contractors come out to give me an estimate. Of the 4, 1 never got back to me and 1 provided a quote that was very very high. Mark and and a large contractor came in with comparable bids for comparable work. I went with Mark for several reasons. I found him to be very personable and knowledgeable. He went into my attic with me, as I pointed out where the roof was leaking and where I wanted some of the wood replaced. This was to be the 3rd roof on the house so the shingles had to be stripped back to the wood. Some of the wood had rotted so I had sections of wood replaced. Mark was very flexible with regard to when he could come out and do the work. Being a small 1 day job probably helped in that matter since he was able to fit me in between other larger jobs. Mark and his crew came out and did everything as promised. This roof will last longer than I expect to be here. When the time comes to move elsewhere, I would not hesitate to call Mark again if I were to need roofing work done. Incidentally - I held off writing this review because I wanted to go through a major rainstorm first in order to confirm there were no more leaks. Unfortunately, once I put off writing the review, I completely forgot to write it. I've been through numerous heavy rain storms and even the melt off of last winters snow storm without a drop. Good job Mark and crew.

Mark and his crew arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. finished the job in about six hours. They removed the old shingles, replaced some wood, and put on new shingles, a ridge vent, and an electric ventilator. I had to get an electrician to hook up the electric ventilator as Mark is not a licensed electrician. They cleaned up and removed all the debris.

They cleaned up everything. They did a very good job.
