Solomons Citgo

I had slid off the ice on to an embankment. They did some front end repairs. It was fixed. I had to take it somewhere else to get what they started finished. It turned out to be a real rip off place. They were horrible. It was ridiculous. They're just no good. They had the car for three and a half weeks. The owner didn't even call me.

On Thursday night at 3:00AM, I received a call from the sherrifs dept who informed me the mechanic was pulled over drunk and driving on a suspended license IN MY JEEP!The Jeep was impounded, which the Citgo shop paid for, but inside were all the parts on the front seat, including the muffler. The new mechanic they had to hire on Monday told me that the shop did not even have the equipment to diagnose the problem, therefore the orginal mechanic had no way of truly knowing what was wrong with my Jeep. His original estimate was $660. The shop agreed to fix the muffler but couldn't do anything else and referred me to another shop. I took it to the dealer who told me the problem was NOT the evap filter or canister or muffler or gas cap. In fact it was the seal on the gas tank. So if the original mechanic had not gotten busted in my Jeep, I would have been out 660 and still had a problem. Through all of this the owner of the establishment never once called, emailed or wrote to me to express his interest in this matter. As a small business owner in a small town, I would think this would be paramount to keep the image of this business intact through this. Apparently he feels otherwise.
