Anner and team elevated and trimmed two massive trees near our house. High quality work, responsive, on time, and fairly priced.

I got an estimate in two days and a week later all the work was done. They trimmed 3 trees which were restricting my view in my back yard. They did a great job and when they were through they removed all branches and leaves from my property,

I was very pleased to work with Walt's Tree Service. From getting an estimate to having the work done it was a very easy process and the people I spoke with were pleasant and professional. I was unable to be at home the day the work was done, but when I did return it was to find a newly trimmed, much nicer looking tree next to my front door and a much more open back yard space due to the cutting back. All debris had been removed as promised. And the price was more than competitive. I will definitely hire Walt's again in the future.

They were quick and efficient. They cleaned up beautifully in our yard and in two neighbors' yards. The price was much better than other estimates and everyone was a pleasure to deal with.

It went well. A foreman was always on site to oversee the project. I was impressed by that.

Walt's service cut up and removed the fallen spruce tree and stump last Spring and came back and removed the over-sized white pine and second spruce tree in April 2017. His estimate was fair and reasonable. The workers were fast and efficient and cleaned up my yard. I now have sun for my vegetable garden and do not have to worry about an 80 foot tree falling on my neighbors house. It is good to support a local business that does a great job.

The tree was pruned on time and for the best price.

They were very quick to come by and give me an estimate. Anner walked the yard and we spoke about everything I wanted to have done. He was very knowledgeable and gave me good advice on the trees. He left a written estimate, which I looked over before signing, and I discovered that he was missing a few trees that we had spoken about. When I called, he initially wanted to charge me a bit more, but I pointed out that we had spoken about the trees. So he agreed to add them to the estimate without extra charge. However, when he arrived on the property to do the work on the day of, he called me and said that there was one more tree to be elevated and trimmed that was not included in the agreement and that he would have to charge me a bit more for that. He was correct that it wasn't included in the agreement, but I felt that we had spoken about the tree and was surprised to find yet another tree missing from his final estimate. Since I hadn't discovered the omission before I signed the contract, I agreed to pay the extra money. The work itself was very good and professionally done, but I would urge customers to read the estimate carefully (as I should have done). One other thing, they also operate as AA Enterprises LLC now, which is not clear from their Angie's List listing. Anner said that his brother, Walt, used to own the business and he has taken it over. Both entities seemed to be licensed for tree removal in the state of Maryland.

It took one day and a half with a courteous, experienced and qualified team to take down the tree while protecting the ground from falling branches, then evacuating 7 tons of wood, and cleaning the property from all debris. A fantastic quality heavy duty job was done at a very competitive price. Co-owner Anner Arevalo supervised the job and participated in helping his crew. I give the company five stars on five and we have already recommended this reliable company to some of our neighbors.

I noticed Walt's Tree Service cutting down many trees in a neighbor's yard. I asked Walt if he could come and give me an estimate on the work I wanted to have done. Walt said his son would come and do it. A while later Nanner came and we discussed all the options. I had gotten about 4 other estimates and this one was the best and also most knowledgeable. We set up a date and they arrived on time and did all the work. They cleaned up and did a great job.

The task was straightforward and done well.

Anner came to our house and give quotes twice, since we changed our minds about which trees to cut. The quote was detailed and clear. On the day of service, they arrive ahead of time to go over the work plan. The whole cutting process was efficient. I thought it would take a whole day. But they got everything done, including grinding the roots, and clean up by 2:30 pm. We were impressed and happy with the job.
Walt's tree service were referred by our neighbor at first, even before I searched on Angie's List. They were happy with Walt's service too.

Anner came to our house within 2 hours of receiving our phone call. There was a huge wind storm the night before, which resulted in a neighbors tree landing on our roof. He was very professional, and promised that they could come that day to remove it. The cost was fair, as per our insurance company (having never done this type of work before, I have nothing to compare it to.) The crew, along with a huge crane came by within two hours of us telling him we wanted to use his company. The crew of 6-8 guys did a great job, and the area was cleared by 4:30 that day. Very professional, efficient, and kind. I would highly recommend them.

The crew arrived on time, a few minutes early actually. Due to job complexity, Anner ensured a 9-man crew instead of the usual 5-6.
The workers were meticulous in protecting with sheets of plywood exposed areas (ie, windows, HVAC units) of both properties before beginning work. Further, before debris removal, Anner had them trim bush and shrub overgrowth on our pathway to prevent slipping. (This was an extra and spontaneous service not contracted for, and an excellent example of the care exhibited by this team throughout the process.)
The job was completed the same day as projected. Anner checked periodically and returned end of project to be certain of our satisfaction. The crew foreman was excellent and ensured perfect grounds cleanup and debris removal on both properties. The team also blew debris off the roof and drain closest to the work area, an extra service much appreciated.
Overall, Walt's Tree Service LLC was, quite simply, outstanding!

I have used Walts a number of times before for removing large tree branches. Their work on those occasions was excellent. This was the first tree removal. I was told that there would be some damage to the lawn when the estimate was given. When only the large trunk of the tree was left to remove, large sections were cut and simply thrown down directly onto the lawn causing large gouges and holes in the lawn. I have since learned that the sections should have been lowered by ropes using an adjacent tree trunk or caused to fall onto sections of the tree that had already been cut and positioned to receive the trunk sections as they fell.

The job went great, and I was very pleased with the results. Walt's accommodated my request for a revised proposal. Good communication with office. The crew showed up on time on the planned day, and the office called several days beforehand to confirm the date. Anner, the representative who gave the estimate, led the crew on work day and reviewed the job checklist beforehand, so I was confident that the work would be done as we discussed at the time the estimate was done. I was informed beforehand that Walt's does not do plant/tree spraying, but they gave me a reference, and that company was also very responsive.

Walt came out to do a free estimate for us and was the most responsive and reasonable of all of the estimates we received. He was willing to work within our budget and still provide us with terrific service. We could have had the entire tree removed and the stump ground down, but ultimately decided (due to budgeting) to have 80 % of the tree removed and left about 6 feet at the bottom as a stump. On the day of the service, the team arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally to remove the dangerous tree and it's many dead limbs. They hauled away everything and were very careful not to damage our fence right near the tree. Would highly recommend Walt and would use him again if needed.

They did a good job removing the tree but there were some ruts in the ground after they left from the grinder.
