TILE & CARPETLAND

Overall the experience was dissatisfying. It was very difficult to get them to establish a schedule and then stick to it. They also had to come out and measure on two separate occasions (no idea what happened with their first set of measurements). They never responded after they came out the first time, so I had call to find out the status of the estimate. When measurements were completed and an estimate done, they cancelled the first actual work appt. "because the materials had not come in." Then they seemed frustrated on the phone when I would not/could not (due to travel) re-schedule for the exact date THEY wanted. (Had I done so and had the gas company come and turned off the gas and then the materials STILL not arrive, my husband would have been at home without gas for an entire weekend!) We finally got the work done, and the workers themselves did admirable work, but I would not deal with TILE & CARPETLAND ever again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

THE PEOPLE AT THE STORE AND THE WORKERS WHO SET THE TILE WERE VERY HELPFUL AND VERY KIND. THEY HELPED ME PICK OUT THE STYLE OF TILE I WANTED, AND WERE FLEXIBLE WITH THE APPOINTMENT TIMES. ALTHOUGH IT TOOK A FEW PHONE CALLS TO CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT TIME, IT WAS CHANGED, AND ALL WENT WELL. I WAS ALSO PLEASED WITH THE PRICE, AND I WAS ABLE TO RECEIVE A DISCOUNT FROM AN AD I HAD CLIPPED IN THE NEWSPAPER. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE, AND WOULD HIRE AGAIN.
