Satellite Motors

They are the best. Immediate family has three Toyotas, Rav, 4Runner and the older Camry that needed the work. Mo and the crew keep all out Toyotas in great shape. I started with Mo and Brian back in the mid-90's when our first Previa went past warranty. Ever since then we've had another 4Runner, a Sienna, a Solara and a Prizm and Satellite has cared for them all.

We hadn't used independent repair shops before. We'd only been using dealerships and got tired of being ripped off for inadequate service. I was pleased that the service cost was less than the dealers.

They are very personable. They keep very good records on our cars. They know us, they know our vehicles. And they're conveniently located. We can walk to them.

The personalities are not always bright, shiny faces, but their service was great. They recommended and researched both OEM and aftermarket parts, gave me separate bids, recommended a good glass company to work with for my windshield, and worked hard to get the job done faster than promised. Will go back with any other car issues.

We had been having our trucks serviced by the dealer in Virginia but that had become inconvenient. We found Satellite Motors on Angie's List and have taken our trucks in 3 times since April 2016.  The trucks were overdue for service and we are very pleased with Satellite Motors. The people are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They accommodated our schedule, performed the service as promised and within their estimate. We believe the price was fair. They made practical suggestions and indicated if work was necessary or a good idea.  We continue to use them and recommend them to others.

Satellite Motors has performed all of the service on our two cars.  They do excellent work, it is completed on time and the price is excellent.  They do the service required and do not do unnecessary work, which i have experienced when I've had service performed by some of the auto dealers. There are no surprises and we have complete confidence in their recommendations.  Their knowledge of the autos they service is up to date - they once informed me of a Toyota recall before I received the notice.
My previous automobile was an Outback, which Satellite Motors did not service at that time.  When I purchased a new car, one of the main reasons why I changed to Toyota was that I could get it serviced at Satellite Motors.
I would recommend them to anyone.

I've been using them for years. For many years they only handled Toyota products. For a while I didn't have a Toyota product and one of my factors in buying a Toyota product was to go back to them. I trust them. The interactions have been very good. I have been totally satisfied and that is why I keep going back. I don't use anybody else so I haven't compared their prices but I have been satisfied.

I have been going to them for almost 20 years. They only work on Toyotas and they are the only ones that I trust with my car. They are fantastic. I do not get anything done before I go to see them. I only go to them and I recommend them to everybody. They are super super good and their prices come in way cheaper than the dealer and their work is better. They use all Toyota parts so they do their work through a dealer but for a cheaper price. I could not say enough nice things about them.

I've been using Satellite to maintain my Toyotas since 1984.  That includes three Corollas, one MR2, two Camrys, a Previa, and one Miata.  I would never go to anyone else, and the fantastic service I've gotten from Satellite is the reason I drive Toyotas.  There are a lot of good cars out there, which will give great service and be fun to drive, but having a fantastic mechanic who does great work at a fair price, that's something you don't find everyday.  
What have they done?  All maintenance & repair work, including warranty work which I've paid for, rather than going to a dealer for "free" warranty service.  I keep my cars till the wheels fall off, and to do that I need a mechanic who does all the routine maintenance, makes sure I get whatever additional work on the brakes, transaxel, etc. is necessary at longer intervals, and fixes the sorts of things that can happen to even Toyotas as they go above 100K miles.  Now, if you keep your car for a long time and do routine maintenance, sometimes stuff happens--a hubcap isn't put on properly, something breaks during a repair, etc.  The folks have Satellite have always, always been excellent at standing behind the work and making good when the unexpected happens.  They're fantastic;  I'll never go anywhere else.

Note, I have been bringing my cars to Satellite Motors since the mid 1980's for maintenance and repair - they are totally reliable, honest, nice people, skilled, and not exorbitantly priced like dealerships.  It is worth the trek from Alexandria to Silver Spring.
