My tub had been getting increasingly more clogged and my "home remedies" did nothing to improve things. I found Rooter Man on Angie's list and called them on a Monday afternoon. Adam was able to come the next morning. He was punctual and very professional. In about 45 minutes he had cleared the tub and sink drains. I even got the senior 10% discount. Would definitely use them again (though I hope I don't have to). Thanks!

Called on a Tuesday and work was done the following Friday. Technician was prompt, courteous and professional. Very pleased with this company. Used company coupon from the AL site and I would hire them again.

The first time we called Rooter-Man was in the winter, when there was a snowstorm and everything shut down.  The pipe to our bathroom sink chose that day to crack and leak all over our floor.  This meant we had to shut off the main water to our house -- while we also had houseguests. We called several other plumbers, but they either wouldn't come, couldn't tell us when they would come, or weren't going to be able to make it for more than 10 hours.  After we called Rooter-Man, Sean came in less than 2 hours, and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes.  And he charged the usual, reasonable rate, despite the urgency of the repair and the snowstorm.
Since we were happy about the service, we used them again several months later to install a backup sump pump in our basement (after we had a sewer backup and, several days later, a failure of our main sump pump).  Sean quoted a price for a battery-powered unit, but I was interested in a water-powered unit.  He didn't have any experience with that, but he looked into it, and got back to me the next day with a price.  I thought about it for a few days, and then called him back.  He scheduled installation for the next day, had the job completed within a couple of hours, and charged a reasonable price.

Rooter-Man cleared out a basement floor drain. First by hand and then with a snake. Everything went smoothly. Their customer service is outstanding.

I had a badly clogged kitchen sink. I called the company at around 8PM hoping to get someone to come out the next day. To my surprise a live person answered the phone! She was very responsive and although I said it was not an emergency she said they could get someone to me in half an hour. Half an hour later Adam arrived and did a first rate job clearing the drain. Considering the almost immediate service and Adam's need to snake out about 30 feet to undo the clog I belive the price was more than reasonable.

They came out the first time which was a Sunday so I paid the extra fee and he did the work within about 20 minutes. A few weeks later I had the exact same problem, again on a Sunday. I called him and he was in West Virginia (I am in Maryland.) and he said he wasn't sure if he could make it. Around 7pm he was able to make it. At that time he bought a bigger tool and spent more time cleaning the drain. I think that this time the drain was cleared the entire way. I believe that this time the problem was solved. He didn't charge me for his second trip. He was one of the only plumbers I found who was willing to come out on a Sunday when the problem originally occurred.
