Pappas was excellent in every way! Their price was competitive and their work outstanding. They inspected all areas of my roof very carefully and repaired many small problems that the other contractors didn't even notice. They were a pleasure to work with.

We had a terrible experience. First, they put the job off multiple days and the arrived late the day the job was supposed to begin. As they were completing the work one of the roofers managed to put a hole in the ceiling of our master bedroom. When he attempted to repair the hole he tracked joint compound and paint throughout our house on our new hardwood floors. We will have to engage a cleaning company to get it off. In addition, when he came to repaint the patch it was completely the wrong color AND then when they came back to fix it they used the wrong color yet again! We just ended up having them paint the whole ceiling to be done with it all. Finally, for most of the work the manager wasn't even on-site and would just drop workers off and leave. These people do not know what they are doing and can't get anything right.

"Weather caused delays in other jobs and caused our schedule to be shifted forward, effecting all jobs. We discussed this with you and agreed on a start date. The claim that no manager was on site is simply not factual. Richard (Partner) was on site first thing in the morning and our foreman was on site the entire time and also worked on the project the entire time. Sophia (Partner) was also on site around noon to check in on things. As for the hole in the ceiling, this was by no fault of ours. As you know, the rotten wood was not replaced when the renovation company put your faulty roof on. Your home had cathedral ceilings and as the three layers of roofing were being removed one of the roof decking boards broke. As soon as your wife notified the crew, we stopped work immediately and sent a crew member inside to begin fixing it. We informed you that we had not yet removed all layers in that area of the roof. We fixed the ceiling and agreed on a color. You did not like it because it was flat. Rather than continue to try to match the color currently on your ceiling we asked if it was acceptable to paint the whole ceiling with your chosen color and you agreed. We brought 5 people to clean all of your floors which you accepted and said it was great and thanked us. You called the next morning and weren't quite happy and wanted us to give you $200 to have a cleaning crew of your choice clean again, we also gave you that. You have in fact hired us again in 2019 to fix damage done to your roof in a storm. You did not hesitate to call us and hire us. You were very pleased with our response time and the quality of our work. I hope that you will update your review at least to reflect that you did trust us enough to return to your home for work again. We are a company that has been in business for 50 years for a reason, happy customers that recommend us to their friends, family, and clients. You were no exception to this as we came highly recommended by your friend and associate who continues to use us to this day also."

New roof was needed on a house I was selling after the buyers home inspection. It needed to be done quickly and up to the inspectors standards and had to have a warranty and guarantee. After speaking to several other roofers who where not willing to provide a warranty or who were too expensive, Pappas responded rapidly and gave us a quote with a longterm warranty on labor and materials in less than 24 hrs from the time we called them. Once the contract was signed they had the job completed in 2 days and provided us with the paperwork and warranty for the new buyers so we could close on time. This is the 2nd time I have used them and both times they were prompt, professional and did the job quickly and properly with no hassles. I have recommended them to others and will use them anytime I have a roofing issue in the future.

I had a serious mold problem in my attic which softened the wood and required a new roof, plus insulation;
Also, basement needed sealing; and other energy efficiency measures recommended by an energy audit performed by another contractor.
First two contractors indicated included repairs in their list that weren't needed;
Pappas Company came on first available date in their schedule, weather permitting. Their team of workers worked practically non-stop; cleaned up everything; very polite and courteous;
I'm very pleased.
