I did go to them. They were fine. It was a little more expensive than I had expected. That could have been my problem, not theirs.

"Thank you for your review. We always strive to improve and appreciate your feedback. Regarding our prices for services, we generally find ourselves on the low end of being comparable to other clinics in the area and do our best to make things as affordable to owners as possible. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Thank you!"
Update 4/14/2014: My cat sitter used Norbeck Animal Clinic when I was on travel because one of my male cats had a urethral obstruction. They did the emergency work (unblocked and catheterized him) so that my cat sitter could move him to the 24/7 emergency hospital. They didn't do any analysis of the urine to identify the cause of the blockage, which was a disappointment. On the plus side, the vet I had disliked so much was already gone and two other vets are currently in place. The one who did the emergency work was not liked by my cat sitter; I liked the other vet, who saw my cat a few days for apossible urinary tract infection (when my current vet clinic was closed).
I called in the morning and got an appointment for the same day. At the
clinic, we had a very short wait before we were seen. The vet, Dr.
Zelepsky, checked the cat over (checked eyes, ears, teeth, listened to
her heart, etc., and felt along the injured leg) then took her to another room
where she could examine her swollen foot more thoroughly. There she
discovered an abscess inside the pad of the foot. After telling me what she found and what she was going to do, she sedated the cat,
clipped the fur on the bottom of her foot, and drained and irrigated the wound. She
gave her an antibiotic injection and a anti-inflammatory injection, and
gave me instructions for how to soak her foot twice a day for the next several days, and how to care for her over the next week. She
also put a collar/hood on her to keep her from licking the foot.
When I checked out, I received a written summary of
what had been done, along with instructions for continuing care during
the next few days, and an itemized bill. They also gave me a reminder notice listing upcoming dates when her vaccinations would need to be renewed.
The meds were expensive, but not unreasonable. I felt the cost was reasonable for the level of care that had been given.
The staff was very good: friendly, courteous, professional, capable. Dr. Zelepsky immediately found the problem, without unnecessary xrays or blood tests, and treated it efficiently. I was very satisfied.
The clinic followed up with a phone call the next day, to make sure my cat was doing well.
The only reason I gave a "B" for punctuality is b/c I did have to wait a significant time to be seen even though I arrived on time for my appointment. On the other hand, they provided me with a same-day appointment which, as a new patient, was very accomodating. And it was certainly worth the wait. I will be returning to Dr. Ivanov for ongoing management of my dog's health.
