"Thank you for your feedback as this helps us provide better service for all our customers. I'm sorry to hear about your experience and after looking into the matter, there seems to be a misunderstanding which I'd like to address. Firstly, we have installation procedures for our technicians and we often receive compliments about how well organized and clean we keep job sites. In this case, we should have done better to remove all the leftover parts. I apologize for the small mess and I have taken this chance to remind our crews about our site procedures. In regard to the troubleshooting and repair work we completed for your ceiling fans. We do not typically include troubleshooting in proposals as there is no way to estimate how much labor is needed to determine and repair an electrical issue until our technicians physically remove parts to test devices and wiring. There must have been a misunderstanding in regards to the cost as we are unable to complete troubleshooting or any electrical work free of charge as we have significant liability due to warranty and labor considerations each time we work on any electrical system. After troubleshooting your fans, our technician determined the DIP switches were not set correctly to communicate with your fan remotes which we corrected. Although we did overlook the issue with your 3 existing ceiling fans during the installation of your EV circuit, when we returned to complete this work, you were not charged for a travel fee and the invoice was then reduced to remove the apprentice labor time in consideration of our mistake. We confirmed the time spent on site with our GPS reporting installed in all our technician vehicles. I believe the reduced billed amount is fair for the work completed. Although we publish our rates and troubleshooting information on our website and you were emailed a direct link when you requested the estimate, as a new client, I should have done better to confirm."
