Description of Work: My 92 year old mother with dimentia contacted Mill End Shops for someone to come out and give an estimate for some work. Patricia Leslie, Design Consultant came out. Unfortunately, I did not know about it or I would have been there for the meeting. 3 items estimated: Sheer curtains for 4 windows measuring 43 x 83 with rods and labor - $1,159.64. (I have seen these size sheers for $50.00 a pair with rods around $23.00 each). 2nd item - Chair pads and labor for 4 40-year old dining table chairs - $667.78. (Since we don't ever use the table or have company, new chairs would cost about $100.00 - $150.00 each). Last but not least - Reupholstering 2 40-year old armchairs for $2,292.80. (Now I know I can buy 2 new arm chairs for less than that). Total $4,120.22. If you have the money, then maybe they are worth it. But not for 40 year old furniture with a fixed income.

 + -1 moreTHEY ARE EXCELLENT, I GIVE THEM AN A PLUS. THEY DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAY THEY WOULD DO, THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. THE COUCH LOOKS MORE LIKE IT WAS RE-UPHOLSTERED.
Description of Work: THEY MADE A SMALL SLIP COVER FOR COUCH.
