Leo, his wife, and Jose are a godsend! Since April my family and I were suffering with no AC. We Leo Underground got on the job, they did not stop working until our AC was fixed. Leo was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. He came in less than a days time when he got the call. And went out his way to ensure we were satisfied and taken care of. And Jose went out of his way to come back to my house on a Friday evening to change a fuse and finalize the repair. I 100% recommended this nice, professional, and efficient company for anyone who needs HVAC repairs.

We had an emergency where we lost Heat this past wknd and contacted LEO UNDERGROUND HVAC Services on Sunday morning and they took our call and came out first thing Monday morning and repaired our HVAC system and got it up and running Asap. Excellent work. Leo is professional, punctual, and most of all does quality repairs at reasonable prices. He's fixed several issues that at least five other providers either couldn't or wouldn't do. He explains the problem and is never disrespectful or condescending. He is dedicated and does the repair that's needed and doesn't try to talk me into anything unnecessary. I request him specifically from my home warranty company and have always been happy with the results.

Tech arrived on time , very friendly explain I had a problem with my thermostat , he replaced it and check everthing on the unit to make sure I would not have any problems for the rest of the season , I will definitely want him to come every season do to maintenance on my air conditioner . Good company , good service, good price. Thank you Leo will call you on spring to have my air conditioner ready for summer.

This is the most honest HVAC company I have ever worked with! While another company claimed I needed to replace a furnace, they were able to resolve the problem fie $250. within one days! Came out quickly, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired before I even knew it! Additionally, they do not try to sell you what you don’t need. Consistently have said I don’t need to replace AC u less I want better efficiency. Amazing! I would not use any other company. Ever.

Leo was great. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. They did a great job in installing the new one, everything looks great. He made this whole thing very easy for us. Which was great because we weren’t expecting our furnace to break down on us just when winter started. I’d recommend him to everyone I know. Bonus: His prices are great.

This business is really good small business and I would recommend to anyone looking for an expert and honest opinion on any work needing to be done on a heating and cooling system. My A/C unit stopped working in the middle of summer and I called 3 different companies for a quote. Leo gave me the best quote and the job was completed as promised. I can’t say enough about a business that under promises and over delivers. But, this is one of those companies and I recommend them to all who need a new A/C unit.

Leo Underground is a sorry excuse for an HVAC technician. In April of 2018 we started experiencing issues with both the heating and cooling of our HVAC unit and called our home warranty company, HMS and reported the issue. On April 18 2018, HMS sent Leo Underground out to evaluate the issue and he reported that the thermostat was wired incorrectly and we paid a $135 service fee. We were told that this was causing the issue and was not covered under the warranty. We continued to have issues, the unit was not cooling and we reported it again to HMS. They sent Leo Underground out again to service the unit on June 5, 2018. He reported that the unit was low on freon, he added freon and charged us the $100 deductible. In December of 2018 we started to have issues with the heating and reported it to HMS and they sent Leo Underground back out on December 20, 2018. This time he said that he discovered the heating issue. He said that it was a capacitor which he said that he replaced and charged us the $100 deductible. We continued to have heating issues and reported it again to HMS. Once again HMS sent Leo Underground out and on February 20, 2019 he said that the unit was low on freon again, which he added and once again he reassured us that the unit was repaired and once again charged us the $100 deductible. The following morning, on the 21st, our unit was not heating properly, and we reported it again to HMS. They send Leo back out for the 5th time to review the unit. After reviewing several things, he called me down to the unit in the basement and showed me wires that were disconnected from their terminals. He told that was the source of the problem, the auxiliary heating unit was disconnected, and he assumed that they were not working. He then apologized for missing it on his previous visits and said that he would reimburse us $100 for his February 20th visit. He also said that he wasn’t going to charge us for the current visit and that he would report his findings to HMS. We continued to have issues and our home warranty company send out Sears Home services. In less than an hour he told us that our thermostat was wired incorrectly (Leo Underwood charged us $135 to wire it in April 2018) and discovered that the auxiliary heating elements were not connected and plugged them in and the auxiliary heating strips worked contrary to Leo Underwood’s diagnosis.

Company was assigned to us through an appliance warranty agreement to repair a refrigerator ice maker. They came out and replaced the ice maker unit without doing any diagnostics. This it didn't solve the problem - still no ice. They then advised it must be that the filter box was clogged due to scaling (which isn't covered by warranty) and reported this to the warranty company. They made this determination without coming back out to verify for sure this was th problem. Anyhow, I asked them for a quote to replace the filter box and was told I'd get it by the end of the day - and that I would pay them directly. I attempted to follow up 5 times via text and phone over the course of a week, but was completely ghosted by them. We then paid another company to come out. Turned out the problem was a leaky evaporator coil (which is covered by warranty). It only took a couple of minutes to remove the back freezer panel and reveal the problem (everything back there was iced over, see photo), but Leo Underground failed to do this basic level of investigation to really determine what was going on. Their poor performance regarding diagnostics and lack of responsiveness wound up wasting a great deal of our time and has caused other issues with our warranty provider.

This is a 2-man business, with only one man able to do repairs. I was assigned this repair company by my home warranty company. The repairman, Eric, did a great job repairing the dryer. He diagnosed the problem with the dishwasher, and gave me the exact parts to order and complete the repair myself when the warranty company wouldn't cover the repair cost. He is highly professional. The problem I have is with the owner of this company. When another problem with the dishwasher drainage emerged following the diagnosis and I had to inquire with the warranty company about further action, the owner was seriously unpleasant and un-professional with me. He not only blamed me for making him look bad to the warranty company, but refused to perform any more work or even look into the new problem his employee may have caused. Any company like this which relies upon a shady home warranty company for referrals is not trustworthy, and I do not recommend this service provider.
