JV Improvements

John provided us with an estimate on some bathroom renovations. We have not yet gone ahead with the work (for reasons having nothing to do with the company) - he was helpful, thoughtful, gave great ideas, and the price seemed reasonable.

Very easy to work with. They arrive when they say they will, respectful of your time. Totally trustworthy. This is the second fairly significant work that JV has done for us and we have been happy both times. The first job was a lot more complex than this one, but same high standards.

No work was done.

I thought that they were very professional. The guy was very punctual. He came out and assessed everything very thoroughly. The only complaint I had was that his quote was the highest quote that I got although it was the most thorough in getting the job completed in the best possible way. Might be he was not that expensive all the line but it was out of my treasury.

The work done by JV Improvements Company turned out to be really good. The project was expensive; however the value for the money spent was on the mark. We are having them do some more work for us in the near future.

They were the most prompt, out of the three companies I contacted. They gave me a quote a month ago. I contacted all the companies at the same time, and they were very professional and very good. I would take a quote again in the future.

Our overall experience with John, Hector and their team was excellent and the quality of the work they performed was superb. John was highly knowledgeable and we were very happy with the advise that he gave us regarding the best type of deck for our house. There were a few minor issues that we were not completely satisfied with initially. However, John responded promptly to these concerns and rectify them to our satisfaction. I intend to use them again.

The work was very precise and beautiful, and the price was quite reasonable. He completed the work on time with no hidden surprises. I have used Mr. Owens and JV Improvements for years on several investment properties that I own--he has taken very large contracts from me to frame new floors, install plumbing and electrical, build countertops, install kitchens and baths, pour concrete, and do finish carpentry as well. He is professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the building trade, and above all, honest. He will not bid low on a job just to get the work, then charge for spurious change orders, nor will he cut and run if a job runs into unexpected difficulties--I have seen him stay with a project until completion even if it costs him thousands of dollars in unanticipated expenses to finish it. Finally, many home improvement contractors will charge what the market will bear, rather than the actual cost plus a fixed markup. I have never seen Mr. Owens overcharge on a project. I can't recommend him enough for your home improvement projects!
