Jorca Contractors Inc, Open M-F 9am - 5pm

Rick Wade, the Jorca project manager, came to our apartment to discuss the job, when we had agreed on scope of work and materials, Jorca sent an estimate for the work, and about 2 weeks later (doors were special order) came and installed and painted the doors and fixed the floor. The doors were difficult in the sense that one opening was not square. The carpenter who did the work (Luis Gonzalez) fixed the problem as part of the install and the new doors now look great and work perfectly. The floor repair was also done very well. The old damage is not at all visible. Overall it was a great experience. We have used Jorca before and will use them again.

Went exactly as we discussed with Jorca.  Work was done on time and within price agreed.

I purchased a big deal for this service and it was a good experience. I communicated with them about two problems, but it took a bit of time to settle the problem because it was last winter. One of the problems required spring to come before the conditions were right for them to investigate the problem. I had another job I wanted them to do but it turned out to be a much larger job than I understood. As it happened, the smaller job used all of the value of the special deal so I declined to have them do the larger job because I felt it was a large enough job that I needed to get other estimates. They did the big deal job in about four hours and asked for no additional money. The work has held up well. It took a little bit of back and forth to get together with them, but they always responded and it was not really their fault that it took some time to arrange the job. If other estimates for the larger job are about the same as theirs I will call them to do the work.

They didn't show twice and it took a month actually have them arrive.  The work was good, but them not showing twice really upset me.

Angies List Help Desk contacted the contractor to contact us - but still we did not hear from the contractor

Excellent service for the price. Completed the tasks in one day and did an excellent job. We get many compliments on the color and quality of the job that they did. Would recommend

I added hours on the spot so they could finish. they did a creative, great  nice looking job.

Having a handyman come without an opportunity for them to see what they will be asked to do the day of the job just does NOT work.  Most of the things I wanted them to do were things they said either they couldn't do or there wasn't enough time in the hour slot I purchased. They ended up getting only one thing done, and that was changing out a faucet that was leaking. The problem was they burned up a lot of the time I purchased going to buy the faucet. If all this had been arranged before they came, a lot more could have been accomplished, but actually very little was done. What they did get done was OK, though.

I made a special purchase through Angie's List with Jorca Contractors Inc. I was pleased with the process and the result. There was a personnel change at the Company which did cause some disruption in responsiveness, but other than that I was entirely satisfied. Extra credit is due Jorca Contractors because I could not be onsite. I had transferred out of the area and all communication was by telephone and through my real estate agent acting as my representative. In spite of this added challenge they delivered. The new countertops, faucet and sink look beautiful!

After making the initial contact with this company they have become unresponsive.  They asked me for a good day and time for the services to be done; I gave them a day and time but never heard back from them.

The two employees showed up at the beginning of a snow storm and worked hard. They gave solid advice and did quality work.

**UPDATE: The service provider sent me a threatening personal email after I posted this completely honest review yesterday. I am revising my grade to F.

They quality of the work was satisfactory but the process was PAINFUL. Carlos came out to assess the job in early June and I really liked him. We chatted for a while and I thought, great, maybe I found a new small scale contractor for ongoing projects. I was really optimistic.

 The day of service, they arrived 2 hours late without calling. It was a busy day at work so that created some problems. The two guys who did the job were very nice and friendly and it seems they did a good job. So I thought, it's a small company, scheduling is challenging, and the quality of work was good for a fair price.

I requested a quote for a basement egress window at the same time that this job was done. This was in mid-June. I followed up by phone and email two to three times per week for the next five weeks. I kept being told I would get a response that day or the next day but never heard a thing. They told me someone would come assess the job for an estimate but that person never showed up. It's now early August and they never got back to me.

 I also had a problem getting receipts for the first job and was told they had been sent when they had not. This company showed no interest in getting additional work and didn't have the courtesy to let me know that so I wasted 5 weeks following up. So much for thinking I had found a longer-term contractor. There was so little they needed to do to earn my business for years to come but it felt like they were intentionally antagonizing me instead.

Bottom line: This is not a professional service provider and the owner sent me a threatening personal message after I posted this review yesterday. Unbelievable.

perfect! left everything spotless. two painters were professional and completed the project on time. I look forward to these painters returning to complete the back of the house and interior.

My boyfriend and I had needed granite countertop installed on our kitchen buffet. We went to Home Depot to get and estimate and make a appointment. As soon as we finished making our appointment I notice a man watching us and quickly approach us. He's name was Carlos and he worked for Jorca. He told us he could do our project for us at a much lower price. We told him we needed it done pretty quickly. He told us no problem gave us his card and told us to email him the measurements and what we are looking to install and he would give us an estimated that night. I did just that and needless to say we did not receive and quote for another 7 days. I emailed them twice with no reply and when I let them know I would me writing a review he finally wrote saying he was out of the office and would send the quote within 2 hours. The weekend past with no response from him. I emailed one more time letting him know I was no longer interested and how disappointed I was with the service. He then send me a quote which was triple the price Home Depot gave us. Home Depot did come out and install our countertops in a very timely fashion and at a third of Jorcas price.

No one told us up front they did not work with oil base paint and that they needed certain brushes. We ended up working through the difficulties and they accommodated our needs.  The painting they did do looked very nice and they did a great job. It did take a while for them to get going on the project and we had some communication issues. They did show up to our appointments as scheduled.
