. As my home faces Rock Creek Park, any repairs required review and approval by an obscure federal entity - the arts commission. The commission, whose members meet once a month, was established in 1902 and must approve any repairs, etc. Failure to obtain commission approval results in fines, etc. Jarman handled all permits, required inspections, represented my interests before the commission, etc. The reconstruction process was delayed by the lengthy commission approval process - finally obtained in April 2015. Jarman's craftmen rebuilt my terrace roof, replaced the terrace support columns, flashing, repaired the damaged sections of my copper gutter and downspout, replaced the terrace ceiling, wiring, recessed lighting and electrical outlets repaired the damaged sections of my copper gutter and downspout and added an architectural feature required by the US Arts Commission. (The commission established in 1902, approves all construction projects on homes that face Rock Creek Park. They meet once a month and must approved all projects). Jarman staff repaired my front solid wood front door, replaced by front door hardware and replaced and re-keyed my locks. They made this process painless, kept me informed of all activities, represented my interests before the commission, secured the necessary building permits and inspections, and worked wit my insurance agent, etc.

Jarman Company was excellent to work with, especially in the way they negotiated with State Farm to ensure all damages were covered adequately. About 1 year later I needed to contact them to verify information about products used. I got what I asked for quickly and felt good that they remembered exactly who I was and the work the did for me.

I used Jarman through my homeowner's insurance (State Farm) due to some water damage to my home. They were extremely professional and nice. I dealt with Anna in the office who arranged the appointments and made the entire process very simple. She was friendly and very responsive. Chris Jarman and Mike came to my home to explain the process/take measurements/etc. They were extremely knowledgeable. The work started soon after the initial appointment. They arranged for a lockbox so they could let themselves in and out so I wouldn't have to take much time off work. They were very respectful of my time. A gentleman named Antonio did much of the work and his work appeared to be very good. He always cleaned up after himself and did very clean work. I was quite pleased with the quality of his work.
I was so pleased with their work, I requested them to do a few other things around my house. Their prices are very competitive. They gave good advice and were very trustworthy. I would definitely recommend Jarman to anybody.

The fact that Jarman managed all the sub-contractors was a great convenience to me because it meant I didn't have to make a lot of phone calls or take time off from work. Since the project took over two months, Jarman's support relieved me of a great deal of effort and stress.
In addition, Jarman kept me informed about everything that was going on, and just generally made the whole ordeal as easy for me as possible.

I really enjoyed their services, and they did a great job on my kitchen! I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to others.
