I highly recommend them. Very nice people and very professional service. Have had no further issues with the oil leak. Also, in addition to replacing the side panel piece, Steve buffed the side of the car to remove some paint scrapes, which I did not expect to be included.

Well. For the 12 year old car: We thought that perhaps we also needed an oil change, but they advised we did not. We were concerned about the brakes, but they advised we had 70% remaining on the front and rear brakes. We were pleased with the service. The12 year old car runs very well. For the two year old car: The work was done the same day and completed in a very satisfactory way.

took about 20 min. while I waited and there was no charge for the brake check--let me know how much brake pad was left on the front and back brakes. Have used them for years and they may not be the least expensive but I trust them. Many times they told me service I thought might be necessary wasn't needed at that time.

Professional service. Did only what needed to be done, whereas others wanted to change rotors Hoffmasters said that it wasn't necessary. Same brake job at Acura dealer was quoted at $350. There is a reason that Hoffmasters has been around so long, and that you need to make an appointment because they are usually at capacity. Worth the wait.

I made an appointment to drop my car off on the weekend. They have a convenient night drop box and I felt comfortable leaving my car. They checked out my car, noting the issues I had mentioned, and called me midday on Monday with an estimate. They called later to let me know they had found one other item that needed repair - fixing it now would cost less than repairing later. They had the car ready on Tuesday and the cost was exactly as quoted.

no one likes to spend money on car repairs, but it helps when you feel the people doing it know what they are doing and take care of it right away. I used to take my car to a gas station repair shop, but feel as if Hoffmaster's men are better trained.

Called to ask for service time when I could wait. Service performed promptly. I have taken my automobiles to Hoffmaster's for 15 plus years. Very honest car mechanic.

They did a have problem with the computer, which kept turning on a light. They stayed on the problem until they fixed it. They gave me a loaner car for 10 days. The initial replacement part, had a problem with it, so they ended up having to replace it twice. They are very good.

Fair price, fast service, nice staff.

There was a funny noise from the front when braking. They fixed this but said it was not the brakes --the brakes were OK . They also replaced the rear drum brakes, claimed the battery was run down, sold me a new one. When I left the shop at closing time, there was a vibration from the front end when braking. When I called the next morning, they asked me if I had done a panic stop. I said NO. They finally located the problem -- the rotors. They then replaced the front brakes, after telling me the first time, that there was nothing wrong with the front brakes! I could only conclude that the front brake problem was related to something they did to the car in the shop. I will never patronize this shop again !!!!!!!!! They should have fixed the front brakes without charging me.

I had made an appt for an oil change and service, but didn't mention any other problems when I was on the phone with them. When I got there, I told Warren at the front desk that the car was making a noise when I turned left and it also felt like the automatic transmission was not shifting as it should. Warren said they could do the oil service and take a quick look at the other problems, but probably did not have time to fix anything else that day. They found that the power steering system had a leak, but didn't see where and they filled w/ PS fluid. They suggested the transmission flush for the sluggish transmission. Warren told me what he figured it would cost and I made an appt for the next week. I asked them not too spend too much time looking for the leak if they could tell it was just a slow leak. So they did the transmission first and then looked for the leak which they found. The transmission flush cost was exactly what Warren said it would be and they only charged me 30mins labor for finding and fixing the PS leak. I made an appt w/ Hoffmaster on the strong recommendation of one of my clients. I was then pleased to see what a good rating they got here on Angie's List ;) Color me relieved to find and honest and competent auto service place!

Huff Masters have always been very honest and reliable every time we have brought our car in to get serviced. They are always willing to listen to what you have to say and they stand behind their work 100%. I would highly recommend them to others in our community.

Steve and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. They give honest, accurate estimates, and they do top quality work at reasonable prices. Trustworthy mechanics are so hard to find these days that I think I'd take a bullet for Steve and his crew.
