The office has the cozy feel of a country vet, and the vet's house is attached. The receptionist was very nice and the vet saw me promptly. They don't have all the "stuff" that larger practices have as far as prescription foods and things to buy, so the place feels more straightforward. I appreciated that as I always feel other practices spend a lot of time up selling on products. The vet was great and explained everything very clearly. And the service was very affordable. I will definitely go back.

Dr. Sweeney is very good. We've been going to him for several years. He is great. He is very knowledgeable and he is an older gentleman. He goes through and talks you through with several exams of your animal and will let you know what he is looking for. I think his prices are very reasonable and he has always been responsive.

Hillandale services a lot of people in this area. Their pricing is good. They are very close to me. The vet that works there is a wonderful person with animals. He is very kind. Before my cat got put to sleep I had just bought a ton of new medications for her. She had a small stroke and the vet was out of town so they referred me to another place. I called and told them I had to put her down. They took back all the medications I had bought 2 weeks before and gave me all my money back. They are very humane and animal focused. You might have to wait with several animals and owners for awhile. You never know how long you will wait.

I have been going to Hillandale Animal Hospital for a while now. The vet, Don Mills, used to come out to my home years ago. He is the best veterinarian I know and I trust him a lot with my cat.
