"I am deeply sorry that the client was dissatisfied with the outcome of the project. That said, his review left out some important information. We initially installed aluminum screening on the exterior of his porch. A few days after the work was complete, we received photos from the client showing fairly large holes in some areas of the recently installed screens. The client indicated that his cat had created the holes and that it was our responsibility to rescreen the porch again. Due to the diameter of the holes in question we seriously doubted his story, however we agreed at our expense to purchase different screening material and install it at no additional cost to the customer. The amount of money the new screening material cost was $300.00, and the additional labor was over $1,000. The material was a special order and took six weeks to arrive. This obviously caused a major delay in the completion date. After the installation of the more durable screening material was complete, I personally contacted the client to make sure he was satisfied with the results. When the customer answered my call, he commented that he had no interest in accepting my apology for the delay in the project, furthermore, had no interest in speaking with me. Needless to say, I was shocked at his behavior. We could have easily elected not to replace the aluminum mesh screening and walk away from the job however; this is not the [Member Information Removed] we conduct business. Our company is completely committed to total customer satisfaction no matter what the cost. Regards, M. "Three months ago, our Senior Estimator/Project Manager acting on behalf of the company met with Mr. [Member Name Removed]. At that time one of the walls in his sunroom had sustained damages. Subsequent to the inspection a proposal/agreement was presented to Mr. [Member Name Removed]. In early September Mr. [Member Name Removed] contacted our office to accept the proposal. The job was scheduled to begin on September 21st. On that date our Project Manager arrived at the customers home only to discover that additional sunroom walls had sustained damages. The inspection resulted in the creation of a change order reflecting the additional costs we intended to charge to make drywall repairs to the other three walls and the painting of each of the three walls and ceiling. On September 21st, 2020’ Mr. [Member Name Removed] accepted the change order contract along with the additional monies due our company. In my opinion, we were totally transparent both with the original contract as well as the subsequent change order. The customer willingly signed both documents prior to the commencement of any activity on our part. For these reasons, I really do not know why Mr. [Member Name Removed] is complaining about the increase in production costs. M. David Klein Sr. Owner Handyman Connection of Silver Spring"
