Description of Work: |Interior renovations of a townhouse: remodeling a lower level including removing a wall, installation of an in-line fireplace, glass shelves and a remodel of the wetbar area; reworking the stairs between the entry and living room level; complete kitchen remodeling including removing interior walls, new island, all new cabinets, and appliances; and removal of walls and installation of windows and skylights in a loft area. | |Their designer and architect worked closely with us to realize our vision. The resultant seamless integration of the renovated areas into the whole resulted in a beautiful home. | |A completely professional and competent crew completed the work on-time and on-budget. They had an excellent group of subcontractors. | |All members of the Gilday team were extremely responsive and make a complex project extremely easy on us. | |We would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreGilday was very responsive. We called for a quote and they were out the next day to meet with us. However, they did not even go upstairs to see the space with us because they were completely out of our price range. Their rough estimate quote was significantly more expensive than the three other contractors we received bids from (about $100k more). On the upside, they were very professional and offered their help in any way (if we needed advice along the way). We did not choose them because of their high price.
Description of Work: Gilday provided us a rough quote for an addition to our house (add on a walk-in closet and master bathroom to our existing master bedroom).
