Went great, had to do more work than originally estimated but we talked before any additional work was done and he charged very little in addition to the original estimate.

It went well.  He was punctual and he worked continuously.  He was professional and friendly.   I will definitely use him again.

I called George and he agreed to meet me at my house on Saturday morning at 9 am to evaluate the job. The job involved repairing water damage to the molding and door jambs of 4 large exterior French doors. More complex than it appears. I could tell that George knew how to make the repairs. He went to Home Depot and bought the appropriate supplies for which I reimbursed him.

George is prepared to take on any carpentry task.  Over the course of making the repairs, he retrieved an extension ladder, reciprocating saw, miter saw, table saw, table, and an air compressor with pneumatic nailer from his non-descript white van. He left the work site cleaner than it was before he arrived.

This was not an easy job. I appreciate George making the repairs in the hot morning and afternoon sun. The next time I have any carpentry needs, I will again ask George if he is available to help.

I contacted Mr. Harper to get an estimate on replacing a wood fence. He
responded promptly, came around to discuss the options and prepared an
estimate. When I decided to proceed with the work, he was willing to
help me select and transport the materials and was able to provide a
great deal of helpful advice. The job was begun at the agreed upon time
and completed on time as well. Mr. Harper was prompt, courteous and
professional at all times. He made sure he understood my requirements
and was willing to be flexible and accommodate my work schedule.  He is a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Harper was volatile, argumentative, insulting.  He called me a liar because we had a misunderstanding about scheduling.  He would not accept we misunderstood each other.  He just yelled rather than talk.  It was extremely stressful and so I discharged him rather than let him continue to come to my house.
His work quality was fine, however, but he had no people skills (at least with me).

He was really good. He did a real good job. Everything went fine with him. He was very thorough of everything he did and he cleaned up perfectly. I would most definitely recommend him to others. He was very polite, punctual and very professional. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

I used him like twice or something. I really liked him. I think I am going to be keep using him. His price was very reasonable and whenever he says he is going to come, he comes on time, he keeps you updated with what he is doing and he was very professional.

We had a basement window which had blown in after a recent windstorm. I called George and explained the details and he said he would stop by this evening to take a look and then do the work Friday morning. I was not home when he arrived so my wife showed him the window. I thought it was going to be much more involved than it was but apparently it was a very easy fix; so easy that George was able to do the repair right then and did not want to be paid for it. Obviously, we couldn't let that happen so my wife gave him $40.00.
We were impressed with George's honesty for not trying to over-inflate the job. He seems like an honest man doing an honest day's work. We will definitely be calling him back for other jobs we have around the house.

Mr. Harper was very professional and considerate.  He did the work and offered to include a few other areas at no additional cost.  He was helpful in making suggestions and tips that I could do myself - in order to get the apartment ready on time.  He patched and sanded holes and scrapes to my drywall, and made sure his work space was clean before he left.
I really appreciate his kind attitude.

I contacted George Harper for an estmate on the repairs I needed.  He responded quickly and came to my house to evaluate the job.  He called me the next day with his proposal and price quote.  I agreed and asked him to schedule the job.  He did the work a couple of days later.  It took about ten hours of work to reframe and hang the door and replace the threshold then seal everything with silicone cauking and weather stripping.  George was very professional and did excellent quality work in a timely manner and cleaned up when he finished.  He also completed the job for the price quoted.  I highly recommend George Harper and I would definitely use him again.

Very very professional job by a very very professional contractor.  A large tree is in the middle of the fence and several tree roots and stubs were in the fence line.  Mr. Harper ensured that he knew what I wanted and installed a very very  good quality fence working around and through these issues.  He cleaned up not only the debris from the fence work but other debris in my yard including 2 trees that I recently cut down and I  was planning to have hauled.  He went above and beyond as I hadn't asked him to take away the tree debris as well. I also appreciated that he could do the job on my time frame which was very short from the time of estimate.  He did the job in 2 days as he stated and didn't request payment until the job was done and I was satisfied.  I only paid for supplies  upfront at the time of signing the contract.  He worked long days and didn't leave until it was complete.  I am quite satisfied with the work.

Mr. Harper's work was thorough and neat,  The work  was a bit slow, but the results were excellent.  In addition, he cleaned up after the job each time he came.  The work  took several days since we were having a problem finding the proper tile.  A real plus was his attitude--positive and considerate.

He did an excellent job. He came in on time. He went out to search for the tiles for me to match what I already had which other companies would not do.

After experiencing George Harper's professionalism, I'm putting this man on my speed dial.
I thought I needed about six ceramic tiles replaced in my laundromat, so George came to the laundromat, and phoned me an estimate of $300 - which might seem high at first glance, but is actually a reasonable price for a "piece work" job like this.
My business closes at 11:30PM, so George came in on a Saturday evening to do the work in time for the employees to close on time, and the adhesive and grout could cure overnight before a busy Sunday. After getting into the job, he found that several tiles surrounding the six I had wanted replaced were loose and should be replaced too. He replaced 13 tiles for the same quote he gave me for replacing the original six!
The quality of the work was outstanding, but maybe more importantly, George did the right thing without saying a word. This is an honorable man who I will trust in the future with additional work, knowing I won't have to look over my shoulder to be sure I'm being treated fairly.

George is extremely polite and very skilled with tile work. My schedule is flexible, and so I gave him my list, and he calls me when he has some time suitable for each repair job. He estimates a fair price and sticks to it. I am very satisfied with his work.

He is awesome. He shows up when he says he will show up and if he is running late, he will call me to tell me that he will be late. That is absolutely unheard of. His prices are fair and he works really fast. Last December, he ripped out our old floor which was rough and put in a new floor.
