I had a crown put on a tooth 3 years ago at another dentist that I was very happy with.  Unfortunately it began to loosen and the original dentist told me my only option was an implant which was many thousands of dollars that I didn't have. He also told me leaving it loose wasn't a huge deal. I went to Fenton Family to see what they had to say as it was close to my new neighborhood and reviews looked good. I had a 7am appointment and was in the dentist chair by 7am which is a big deal for my issues with time and promptness.  They did a set of x-rays for free using some space-age looking machine that did a quick 360 degree x-ray (no biting down on plastic like usual).  Dr. Jasani looked at the crown and took a couple of more x-rays and stated that the tooth was infected and that this was a problem.  So much for the looseness being "not a huge deal". Before anything was done they showed me the cost based on my insurance and gave me payment options.  As well, instead of the dreaded implant, Dr. Jasani stated that a bridge was an option and it was covered by insurance (as much as insurance covers).  Note:No up-sell and an actual discussion about affordability.  I had the extraction and a temporary bridge was put in.  The shade of that bride was very dark and it was in for a while so started to fall apart a little.  I went back in and they put in a new temporary and actually decided I was ready to get fitted for the permanent bridge early.  The permanent bridge was put in today and it looks great.  I thought the old crown was good; this is a step above.  And just to clarify: 4 appointments, all at 7am, all that started on time at 7am.  And they texted me to confirm appointments which is a nice touch. Big thumbs up.
