Carlos Vanegas

This is the third time that I have used Carlos for interior painting.  Previously, he painted a stairway and upstairs hallway at my home in Silver Spring, and on another occasion the crown molding and baseboard in the living room.  He did such a good job that I hired him to paint the dining room in my son's house in Cascade, MD, a few miles beyond Thurmont.  Carlos and his team of two men moved a china cabinet to the center of the room.  They covered the cabinet and chandelier in plastic.  Spread paint cloths to protect the floor.  They caulked with acrylic material.  Then, painted the walls in a warm orange color using two coats as well as the ceiling and trim in white.  The team was friendly, but efficient and professional.  They chatted comfortably with each other while they worked..  No errant drops of paint anywhere.  And, an exceptional job along the borders where the orange walls met the white of the ceiling and the basebboard.  The caulk job on the closet door was especially good and gave the door a new lease on life.
