When the guy showed up he said the Groupon didn't cover carpenter ants and that it would cost $485 and I'd need four follow-up treatments. I needed them gone, so I foolishly agreed. Turns out the follow up treatments were supposed to be weekly at $100 each. Which I didn't realize until I called back the DAY AFTER the first treatment saying there were still a ton of ants, so they sent someone out and charged me $100 as a follow-up!? I was shocked, since it hadn't worked the first time why was I paying a 2nd time. Then for the next 3 weeks they kept scheduling me and calling less than 24 hours before service telling me someone was coming. I kept canceling because I wouldn't be home, but NO ONE answered when I called to cancel, so I had to keep leaving messages. It was borderline harassment how they kept trying to come and get another $100 every week. I canceled and told them to never contact me again.

I called early in the morning and they said they would have someone at our house by 5pm. At 5pm, no one had come or called, so I called them. They told me that the person assigned to us had an emergency at another house and couldn't make it to ours. I explained that we had waited for them and would have appreciated a call. They said they'd send someone out in the morning. That person came and took a look at our house. They told us they only had one trap in their car, so they were unprepared, but could come back on Monday for $1,300 to close up three small holes caused by squirrels. With them being a no-show the first time and then giving us such an outrageous quote, we will be finding another exterminator.

They put traps in the attic and all the rooms of my house initially. After about six months, there was no more eating of the bait but they kept the traps inside for another six months. Now I only need traps outside. Last October I had a huge beehive in my yard. I thought it was a wasp nest but they came and removed it within a couple of hours of my calling. The also removed the wasp nests over my garage and porch. Brussells is a very good company and I like the routine plan. I have not seen ants, spiders, crickets or anything else! Three weeks ago, I had a problem with birds and again, they responded very quickly. It is nice to know that I can call and they will respond so quickly!

The materials they use are effective. I like their customer service very much and their workers are very polite and professional.

I submitted an inquiry to this company through their website about a wasp problem I'm having at my home. I received a phone call within an hour or two from an individual who told me he would be at my house between 4 and 6 pm. I waited from 3:45 pm to 7:45 pm and he neither called nor showed up. I had to cancel my evening plans because I was still waiting. Earlier that day before I got stood up, I contacted the company via phone (voicemail) and email to ask them if the 10% Angie's List discount they advertised could be applied to my order, but I never received a response. I don't appreciate losing the limited hours of free time I have to an irresponsible, unresponsive company like this one. I called the company again to report my dissatisfaction over being stood up and never even received a response from the company acknowledging my message or their poor service. This company doesn't get a second chance with me after having me leave work early for nothing.
