Bob's lawn service does not use the large deck mowers that many lawn services use. I have been very happy with their use of smaller "push" mowers that do not scalp the lawn on curved and inclined areas. I have also used Bob's for fall cleanup with very good results at a affordable price. The owner, James Nix is a pleasure to work with!!

They are very good. I have been using them for years. They charge $130 a month. They cut my lawn, clean it up and if I want additional work, I call them and tell them and they come out and trim my bushes for me. I use them for snow removal in the winter too. If there is a storm coming, I call and tell them to put me on the list and they come out when they can. They do my driveway, front sidewalks. They don’t advertise that though; they do snow removal for their special clients. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

For weekly lawn maintenance (mowing and trimming) they are reliable and do a pretty good job. They also do yard cleanup and mulching beds, etc. That's where the service falters. Three times I've called to arrange for yard cleanup/mulching, as instructed by the service, was told it would be done, and they just never do it. The owner just seems to forget. I wouldn't recommend them for anything beyond the weekly service. For that they are reliable. For anything beyond, not reliable.

I hurt my foot so I hired them to take care of my yard. They mowed on a regular basis. They worked with my schedule. They were great and I would recommend them to others.

I do not like how mow my lawn. They cut the lawn too low and do not listen to you, as far as, adjusting the mower height.
