Scheduling an estimate took a long time (weeks), then there was a 3-4 week wait from the time of the estimate to the time when the work could be scheduled (they mail you an estimate), then scheduling the work was another 1-2 weeks. The total amount of time for a relatively minor project was 2-3 months. Otherwise, the screen door is nice and the estimate providers were nice and professional and the installer was skilled and did a good job.

I had to make an appointment about 2 weeks in advance, but the repairman showed up almost an hour early on the scheduled day. He looked at my 50 year old, 10ft wide sliding glass door, and took it part way apart to fix an unseated seal that I'd caused. We talked about my options while buttoning it back up, and suggested a workaround that is working great. He didn't charge me for the visit, and I'm pretty pleased with the visit.

They brought the wrong part. It took several months to get the right part for one window. Everything is working smoothly now. The price was reasonable and showed up on time.

They were great! The were very efficient! The were so helpful, experts in repair. I would never use anyone else but them for repairs.

I am rather tardy (the service was done in late April) but I would like to write this report anyway. The company responded very well. This was a rather small job and sometimes it is difficult to get companies to respond promptly. However, they were able to give me a service date rather quickly. The gentlemen who replaced the window was on time, was very pleasant, and was very professional. He answered my questions very well. I was quite pleased and will definitely use them again.

They were efficient and knew their business. They cleaned up often and did excellent work. The ground around our porch is very irregular and they ended up using a ladder and supports to work on the windows. It only took one days and two more hours.

They did a good job and they also gave a ten percent off because I was with Angie's List. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. A lot of people would do window replacement but as far as window repairs go they were excellent. I got all my windows from being crooked, not opening and closing properly to smoothly opening and closing properly now. The workers were great and nice but I thought they were a little pricey.

The job went smoothly in every respect. The technician arrived on time and was very careful to protect our carpets, floors, etc. He also found a way to change the door rollers without removing the door from its tracks, which would have expanded the scope of work and let in lots of cold air on an unusually chilly April day. It turned out that the rollers in my door are non-standard - no replacement exists - but the technician had a kit with all kinds of parts that enabled him to rebuild the existing rollers. I was considering doing the job myself, making use of the abundant supply of Fischer's Hardware in Springfield, VA, but I'm glad I didn't because I would have likely hit up against the non-standard roller issue and would have gotten stalled in completing the job.

I hired another company that knew exactly what they were doing.

They were fine, they came and did what they were supposed to do and they charged a reasonable amount of money for what it was. They did a good job and I'd call them again.

It went smoothly. They were on time twice, once for the door and once for the screen. They ordered the screen and obtained it quickly. They even adjusted there schedule for installation to fit mine at the last minute. They were courteous and competent and willing to spend a lot of time making adjustments to the doors. They also did not insist on a full replacement as did most other companies.

Blaine Windows did a great job. They were always on time, called ahead and did a great job. The windows that were not opening correctly function well now. I was really impressed by the service.

Window replacement went without a hitch. The communication from the salesman and the service personnel did not go too smoothly. Service personnel thought the acrylic was already cut to size and it was not communicated from saleman to service personnel that they would need to make the cuts. Service personnel performed work but the cuts were very rough and not as precise as I would like for an executive home. I may end up replacing the acrylic and redoing the cuts myself to make it look more professional.

The work was done at a rental property that I own. They mis-measured the first time around and the first screen window didn't fit, but they quickly fixed that problem and had another screen delivered. The employees that came out were very professional. They did a good job and were impressive. They were slightly pricey, but they did high quality work.

I found Blaine Window to be very professional and I would definitely consult with them again. However, in this case, the estimate was alittle high for what I was looking for.

A technician came to my house and measured the window, which had to be ordered. After a week or so, the window was ready and we set an appointment for installation. It was a very quick installation, and there were no problems aside from having to have the window open on a very cold day for a few minutes. Overall, I was very happy with their service - though their standard charge to come measure was more than I would have expected considering I did go through with the purchase/installation.

The price was reasonable, and the work was done on time, as promised and the install looked good. I was happy with this company and would use them again.

This was completed in two visits. The first visit included an inspection and measuring. The second visit was the installation which was very quick. The repairman and company was very professional.

We sold our house and these were two things we had to fix in order for everything to go through. They had to come back because the window that was sticking was still sticking. They didn't charge us for that visit. They called say when they would be coming and they were very punctual. Everything was fine.

They are experts at their work and they were great!

I thought their pricing seemed high. They did everything they said they would do.

I felt like I could trust them for any future needs. The gentleman that came out was courteous and very helpful.

I was able to get a live person on the phone the first time I called to set up an estimate; I had read on Angie's List that they do the work right away (sometimes that very same day the give you the estimate) so I was happy to get the job done right away - we were putting our house on the market the next week. They scheduled the estimator to come out 2 days after the initial call and when they got out to my house they charged the regular fee (I think it was around$70.00). But at that time I found out that it was not a standard size and would take 3 weeks to get the window in. I had already paid them the $70 so I went ahead and had them order it. Three weeks came and went and no call. I tried calling them and left messages, but no answer back. Finally I went down to their store and talked to someone in person and had them schedule to come out on the 4th week. The installer came out and did a great job, it was just a shame that it took an entire month to fix one window.

Everything went exactly as expected. Everyone was punctual, friendly and efficient. Would absolutely recommend.
